Cannot find my car. Cannot find any systems. Updated software and still does not work. Will be returning unit.

Sketchy privacy device

Any privacy-conscious user would want to steer clear of this. This device requires an app that itself requires an account with the device manufacturer, and the account requires a verified email address. Additionally, the app requires the *account* to be paired (“activated”) using the serial number of the specific device. The obvious question is, why is all of this necessary, what do they plan on doing with this information, and will they be sending my car’s diagnostic data to their servers? Additionally, the app *requires* location services to be enabled in order to use the device, which raises the red flags even higher. My recommendation would be to steer clear of this device.

Horrible!!!

provemeright on

I’ve been trying to use this since I got it a while ago but it’s useless. Keeps telling me I need to purchase to use. Even after purchasing. On top of that every thing that should be available also needs to be purchased separately. Thought this thing would be a cool idea. But instead I just bought a paperweight. Waste of time and money.
