TickTalk Kids Smartwatch

Bought two tick talk 4 watches and paid for the extended warranty. After a couple months both watches stopped working. One had the red button get stuck pressed in and the other wouldn’t make calls nor receive them. Not even two months later one stopped charging. A year and a month later the other watch is not charging well anymore. Both watches have been replaced at least twice. Each time it takes one to four weeks to receive the replacement. Absolutely terrible quality and poor customer service.

So far so good. Easy set up. Precise location. Can get help if needed.

The watch was awesome during the first few months. Since then, it will: Reboot when it feels like it Location is not always accurate Goes offline Will call out, but not allow calls to the watch. Wish these would get fixed and I had the same watch we started off with. It provided me with a sense of comfort. Now it’s stressful not mowing when it will and won’t work.

We are in Jacksonville and it is showing watch in lubbock Texas. Defeats the purpose of this watch!!

The primary reason we chose the TikTok watch was for the GPS locator.Unfortunately, this has been very unreliable and inaccurate. The watch will alternate between satellite and Wi-Fi for its service. It is pretty accurate when satellite is being used, However when Wi-Fi is being used it shows my child as far away as 5 miles from where they really are. This happens even when there is a very close open Wi-Fi source available. This makes the watch pretty useless for us for this function. The ability for me to contact the kids and vice versa is really why we keep the watch at this point. Hopefully TikTok will be able to upgrade to satellite location service at some point.

The watch has not been working well for a couple weeks now. It keeps saying it is offline. Sometimes we turn it off and then back on and it starts working again but then will stop working again. It is frustrating that it is not reliable.

It’s a great idea and concept but poorly executed. Now we have two watches that won’t charge or power on with no real troubleshooting tips available. These are almost brand new and barely used too.

I really like this app it’s easy and simple, however, I do not like that I have to go through the app to access messages. So instead of my messages coming directly through my text in my phone, I have to access a separate app and there is a large delay between calls with my children. It does not instantly connect very slow.

Keep in mind that parent might be old. Font is too small an App UX is difficult to navigate.
