Tide app just forced fast login using just iphone pin, lost the e tra security of second password, had to delete from iphone necause i do need feel safe when i am mugged, as any thief will force me to give up my iphone pin. Biometric ID does not work as my phone only has face id and face id never worked with glasses regardless what apple says. And If you are forced to give your pin, you can any byometrjc login. as far as I am concerned TIDE is now in the realm of security theatre instead of real security. SO TIDE APP IS NOW UNSECURE WITHOUT A SECOND PASSWORD.
Frustrating
Ok for an individual with simple transactions. The charges to move money between your accounts can be excessive.
You can’t add or include. secondary person on the account.
It’s also annoying that the app tried to set up Apple Pay EVERY time you use it. I don’t want to use Apple pay with this account.
There are other banks with better services and apps. If this doesn’t improve I’ll have to move.
poor app
Tried adding someone as a new recipient to pay and you get a something went wrong error went entering the OTP. The error message is really helpful and says something went wrong.
Upon restarting the app the new recipient was actually added.
I keep getting pay with Apple pay every time I open the app even though I have never used it.
I think Tide outsources mobile dev work to India 😂
Terrible
Totally unresponsive support. Application submitted and it seems to enter a black hole where no one looks at it. Keep getting emails off the onboarding team asking for the same information in order to open an account, and it doesn’t matter how many times I send it in, they still request again.
Spelling mistake
Who noticed on the preview for Tide, one of the screenshots, the phone on the screen says “depotised” instead of “deposited”?

Terrible for seeing updates on new business opening
If you are starting afresh on a new business this app is terrible. It has been completely useless to see any update on where it is in the process and it is almost impossible to use the in app messaging service to speak with someone. It keeps trying to get me to start the process again and when you back out of that process you are met with a white screen and nothing else.
When I originally selected the option to use their business address service, it completely ignored that when sending it to company house, meaning the jurisdiction was different to the address which resulted in my application being rejected by company house.
It has put me right off doing any business with you if that is how you handle opening new accounts. I did not continue the process and took my business elsewhere.
App doesn’t work
App doesn’t even work, just gets stuck at the log in screen. Need to keep reinstalling it and it just happens again

I would advise everyone who had an account with this shady bank to check you CIFAS as they sneakily add people on there and destroy there lives in the background when people are not even aware.Worse Bank- extremely unprofessional and very unfair and unjust ,they send generic messages claiming please email us and we will help you which is far from the truth in my case,i am in the process of taking matter to courts due to them registering me on cifas , they destroyed my life, my cifas will be removed soon by the grace of god but this wont change the damage they caused to my reputation and my business reputation

Specialised team are a joke!
Never known a bank to take 4days to release a pending payment!!!! Literally like being interrogated asking for more and more proof make me wonder if they are quick enough if the account went through fraud! Can’t called them and having to rely on a in app chat that ain’t even live chat. Quick to get to an agent to tell you it’s being handled by somebody else but fast enough to close it down without no timeline on how long it will be. I say don’t go with Tide business go with another bank as I’ll soon be closing my account soon the issue is resolved. Never again!
