I need an app to track my time - time spent in different facets of my work. I had searched through a variety of apps, but always felt I was trying to make it do something it wasn’t primarily made for (I’m not interested in billing or team work applications etc).
Then someone recommended Timelogger to me. I've been using it for 4 months and it is a breeze to use. I have set up three main categories of my work, and each with a whole range of tasks under them. Thee are options to start a timer when you start a task (or as often happens with me, tell it that I should have started the timer 5 minutes ago!), or to input the data manually later in the day.
The array of statistical reporting is impressive with daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly and yearly options.
It has really helped me keep track of time, see where the balance of my time lies, and mo e towards a better work/life balance.
There are a couple of small changes I would love to see, but not worth giving it less than a 5 star rating! Very happy with it at present.
One final comment, I generally don’t like to pay for apps, but this one is so well worth it.
Recent change
I find it much more difficult to use now as there is not the ability to do two things at once. And a lot of us who are time conscious can do two things at once, for an example, walking and learning a language, at the same time, knitting and studying and many many more so I find it a bit frustrating to only be able to log one thing at a time.
I have enjoyed this app for a very long time until the recent changes. I’m finding it a little bit difficult.
Doesn’t work properly
Keeps erasing my time record after saying can’t sync to iCloud even though I have it turned off.
Lost all my tracked hours
I opened the app for the first time after the updating to iOS 15.1 and it had a message about a change in my iCloud account. When I checked, the iCloud option was disabled. I enabled it but when I checked my hours, I had lost everything recorded for the past couple months. So frustrating. If there is a way to backup, I wish it would have automatically backed up periodically.
The perfect app.
This is the one you want. Don’t fall for the marketing hype of the other productivity apps. I literally tried them all, this is the *only* one with all, not most, but all of the features you want. Your search is over.
Lost all archived tasks for no reason
Opened the app and it told me due to an iCloud change my tasks changed too. IDK. But I did not change anything iCloud or related to this app.
Nice app
I’m using it everyday and I love it!
Love it.
I only track one task but it works beautifully. I love the app. Period.
Great time tracker app!
I love this app! It’s great to keep track of my multiple tasks/projects/clients. I wish there was a way to manually enter hours instead of having to use the time clock though. I don’t like the timer I prefer to track time by 15 minute intervals and wish I could track time in that manner instead of using the timer.
More Color options
Exactly what I was looking for in terms of tracking time allocation. I just wish there were more Color options like a color wheel or spectrum. Kinda limiting having only so many 16. What if I'm trying to track more tasks than this. Having to use the same color for 2 separate tasks can become confusing rather quick...for me
