It’s the perfect phone RPG. I love big, deep RPGs, but the problems I usually have with them on mobile ports are that 1. The controls are usually pretty clunky and 2. big epic games are usually too complicated and cumbersome to jump in and out of to be really enjoyable on mobile, especially when I only have a few minutes at a time to play. This game, however, offers quick chunks of gameplay that are deep and varied enough to make the combat infinitely fun on multiple play throughs. The narrative is great, and the writing is genuinely hilarious. I’ve beaten this game a few times, but it’s still fun to come back to.

forced ads means automatic 1 star

great game. lots of funny dialogue and combat is actually interesting and keeps you on your toes. having said that, i hope the devs go bankrupt and never make another game in their life. forcing people to watch ads just to play the game is essentially torturing players in an attempt to coerce them to pay money to stop doing it. you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.

Free and Fun

Great game! Played many times through to see all the dialogue.

Good but needs more diversity

Zagerth on

The basis of the game is good but there’s very little content as it stands, and very little build diversity to work with Some simple things they could do to fix the issue Randomized perks: as it stands you always get a see of 2/3 perks each level up (with the third being unlocked after you unlock the more perks option) but these are static for each level so you pretty much always pick the best option, the perks should instead be randomized so that you can have more whacky set ups More perk synergy: a handful of the perks currently don’t mesh well, mainly the ones that ‘swap’ one of your attacks for another don’t mesh with others that modify the base attack (even if the one that changed the attack was gotten before the perk that modifies it) changing these to mesh better would help Other than that just adding more perks, events, and the characters you’ve hinted at in the other reviews and the game should be in a good spot

Praise the worm

According to my time travel buddies I’ve done this 49 times. I keep thinking I’ll unlock something but it doesn’t happen. While game is played in three turns. I’m appreciate but I need more jokes. Also, I think I dominated Sherlock Holmes every time

Fun, funny game

I’ve played through until the end a few times and after 3 loops am finally done until new content is added. I basically am so strong I can’t lose. Fun variety of quests and challenges, silly dialogue, unexpected outcomes. There are a few inconsistencies like where you can click on a perk and see it’s benefits but when choosing to add an item you can’t see what the benefits will be. Hopefully these little things fixed in the next update. I hope for more content so I can play some more!

Excited for updates

The story and gameplay is very fun. Although it repeats each play through, its always a little different. Excited to see what the developers will add in the future.

Lots of Potential

This game took me a good couple runs to be able to finish, once i hd some points in XP gain and got all the characters level up skills unlocked. Now that ive finished it and unlocked the 1 character it seems there is to unlock, i feel like im still looking for something when i play a run. I would love to see more random elements contribute to the worlds your party visits, just some rng stuff so its not so identical right off the bat after each Hub visit The other thing is i want more playable characters! I am at the point where i have used almost every combination of skills and characters and would happy with even the ability to unlock some already in-game NPC designs like the host at the Arena. Overall this is one of the best types of mobile game and as long as there is new substance i will be playing this game!!!

Extremely well done Rougelite

Hours of replayability with enough variation in both story and team builds to keep the game engaging. Humorous story with quirky characters and a respectable length for each run. Looking forward to the next addition to the game! Keep it up Second Pass Studios!

Fun game

I hope this isn’t a spoiler, but the larger narrative does gradually progress as you play more times. I like that. I wanted to report two bugs. First, the store does not seem to work for me! Ios15. Also there is a “missing object name” on one of the prizes for the cooking show event.
