Tin Can Knits

If I don't close the app please keep me signed in. If my signal is poor the app becomes useless because I can't sign into my projects. Huge downside. It also ends up not saving notes I take in a pattern when not well connected. Please improve this.

Tin can knits has been my go to favorite for all knitting info and inspiration I have ever needed. Clear and concise directions for all sizes and reference to techniques makes for guaranteed success. I have knit all my life and enjoy the fact I can have my pattern on my phone and the specific size I am using. Technology advances even an age old craft. Thanks

This app consistently fails to open. It needs to be debugged. Every time I want to go in to see the pattern, I have to delete, reinstall, and then re log in. Please update.

Great app and I love that it automatically grades the patterns for you. I was having trouble getting past the opening screen after downloading it before the update. Even after the update, same issue. Tried deleting it and re-downloading it today and now I’m good to go. Wanted to post this in case others were having a problem.

After a long knitting break, I was thrilled to find this app. I reached out for a little help early on when the functionality wasn't intuitive for me, but after clearing that up, the app was so helpful. I especially love that I can see the directions for just the size I'm making. 🙌🏻

I have just started using the app and it is wonderful. I like how it shows only the size you are working on. I would like, however, to be able to check off parts of a pattern when I am finished with a section.

I downloaded the app yesterday because I’m making the Rye Light socks. I cast on yesterday and the app was working fine. I thought it was great and I was super excited that the pattern is easily accessible on my phone. Today, I open the app and it’s just a blank white screen.

This is a nice and useful app but it has some shortcomings for the way I knit. For instance, as others have noted, there’s no way to highlight rows on a chart to keep track of where you are. There also doesn’t seem to be a way to print out charts (I know the point of having an app is to use the app, but sometimes I just want to take a paper chart with me instead of working off a computer screen). It would also be great if we could access a pdf copy of the patterns so we can see all the numbers for all the sizes. If I don’t meet gauge (oh, shock and horror!) I like to see which size I would like to knit based on my gauge. Adding these features would be really helpful. Keep up the good work!

I ADORE this app. I’ve been a fan of TCK patterns for a long time and I’m so impressed with the work they’ve put into developing this app. You can keep your place throughout the patterns even for repeats and customize the size and weight of yarn to exactly what you’re knitting. I can’t wait to try it out for lace charts!

This app is wonderful. Free, thoughtfully designed and the patterns are clear, easy and cute!
