Decent story but toooo much waiting
All right, I just finished this game (f2p) so here are my thaughts... I really love the 8-bit graphics (wish they kept that for TI2), that was one of the main reasons I persisted on finishing this one, but honestly I felt the game could have been so much more. The concept of playing something like D&D on a small island was great, loved that, I liked the side quests (the little islands arround - Mech Island, Ice Island, ...), the story on these was fairly good, the main story is decent, and your decisions do impact you play (new survivors join, you get different rewards, ect.). Also, I like I like puzzles… But repeating "climbing up a tree" or "sawing away marble" (Temple, Witch castle) or "remembering how a map looks" and going in circles because you zoomed out... come on... thats just tedious. I would have liked maybe “zoom in” into the map when you are going through the forest or something? There were some times when the game gave you a view/photo of what you are looking at and I would have liked to see that more often ... Than there is the waiting... I know thay have to make money somehow, but the constant repeat and repeat and repeat... the grind... dude.. progress blocking on a different level, even if you do spend money… you already have comercials, wouldn’t it have been enough to give players “cosmetics” to buy? I ended up forgeting half of the story by the time I got to the end… took waaay too long
