Tipple – Wine Tasting For Everyone

I used the app 2 years ago on an Italy trip. Haven’t used since. Went to look at my tastings last week, and everything was gone. I have changed phones, and had backup set up on iPhone. For whatever reason, my data is no longer in the Tipple app. Support said that the ap “follows my backup settings” whatever that means. My backups were regular. All of my other app’s histories have transferred when I upgraded my phone (like Candy Crush!), so why Tipple’s didn’t is a mystery. It’s a great app, I just wish I didn’t lose all of my history!

I like this app so far. It is so helpful in describing all of the different rating categories. Only giving it four stars, because for some reason when I go to take a picture, it won’t link up to my camera. Could be just an issue with my phone, but when I first downloaded the app, it worked.

Love the advice in ‘how’ to taste wine, but a 5 star rating system is massively insufficient. I spend a lot of time in my notes. Haven’t done much with follow up and research yet but this definitely does the job ‘on the spot’

Really good if you are learning to taste wine! Lots of taste inspirations to educate your pallet. Also let’s you easily archive and remember great bottles and experiences!

This wine journal app is what I've been looking for. I want a tasting grid so all my entries fit the same template. This app has that. There are a few bugs/issues that need to be ironed out for this to be 5 stars.

Tipple is amazing. It’s a fantastic way to keep track of what wines you like, what you don’t and everything in between. You can begin to see patterns in what you order and this leads you to experiment with new and different ideas. Honestly, it’s fantastic. User interface and experience have been thought through and are well designed. Great for wine novices and experienced wine guys a like.

So a friend told me about this app and I downloaded it out of curiosity.. And well I was more than pleasantly surprised! I am not a wine expert by any means but the app helped me find a new love and appreciation for the stuff that I always wanted to have. I am now giddy in trying new varieties and types and using the app as a guide through those muddy waters :) 5/5 I recommend it!! Enjoy!!

Great app for beginners and avid wine drinkers alike. I didn’t know a lot about the details of wine tasting, and I found the tips to be very easy to understand to better describe and understand what I was drinking. It’s a good app to just play around with as you learn more about how to taste wine or to store information about your favorite wines. In short — great app to use to learn more about wine at your own pace
