TLV Bible

Thank you for a great App. Suggestion - can we have Hebrew dates in the calendar as well? And sometimes the audio of the Haftarah portion is not what is listed as the actual reading 😆

No longer works…?

I love this Bible app and plan on ordering the large print Tr we of Life Bible in September. My frustration is that the app can not be used in landscape on a tablet. Could this please be fixed. Thank you.

This review is for the app; the TLV version itself gets 5 stars! I’ve been using the TLV Bible since the new covenant came out well over 10 years ago. I enjoy everything the app has to offer, and I’d like to use it more in my quiet time, BUT I don’t out of inconvenience: it won’t rotate to landscape mode. I have an ipad with magic keyboard, but the app is always sideways and won’t rotate. I have to remove the keyboard and carefully use it that way. I’d love to see the app be able to rotate. I’d be happy even if it didn’t fill the width of the landscape screen but had the black bars on the side. Thank you for taking time to read my first world problem. Blessings in Messiah Yeshua!

I have tried many Bible apps. I’ve stuck with the main Bible app most people use since it has all the versions. But I have to say, this one might be my favourite. I’m not Jewish but I’ve been wanting to learn more about the culture and viewpoint, and to read the bible more through that lens. The translation is great, but even putting that aside this app overall has a wholesome feel to it. Just to clarify, I rarely write words to a review, unless I have a complaint. But I like the UI of this app and how there are cool explanations of this like the Jewish calendar. Anyway, I will be recommending it to people who I feel like are hungry to grow and are tired of the same old church interpretations of passages and maybe a bit stagnant or stuck. I like to read and compare verses in lots of translations, but I plan to keep this app since it has some helpful diagrams and explanations of things. High five to the team that has put this together!

As much as I want to use this app regularly, there is still no landscape mode for tablets. That is what I use in my studies. Not a phone. I use the tablet with a keyboard (holder) and am not going to keep digging it out just to use the app.

Wow! This is so exciting and so awesome! I know nothing about the Jewish community so this is very interesting listening to you in the video. Def. worth getting the subscription. The audio of the TLV app is a function I do enjoy and appreciate greatly! What other apps out there offer this specific function for the Torah, Haftarah, and Brit Chadashah? The teachings, Torah in 60 seconds, and the discussions are bar none in the MJ realm. Love the family at TLV! Many thanks and shalom, shalom.

The reason why I downloaded this app, was specifically for the audio of the Torah portions. But it’s gone now😔Will you add it back?
