Mobile app -
I like it, easy to use, up date it every day. Wish new tasks went to the top of the list. Would also like to see it synchronize with the MacBook app via the cloud. Would purchase this app again!

Missed the more recent reviews before I purchased this - I love the layout on my laptop but I can’t sync between that and my phone making it pretty useless. Apparently a problem with Dropbox connectivity but I haven’t seen anything about a fix. Don’t buy this!
For me, I like the way the list are laid out. You can quickly scroll through each list. You can easily see where you are with the task for each list. You just swipe across and the next list are there. I like the format and layout. Simple. I do have one main complaint. I can’t sync between my iPad and my iPhone. At my desk, it easier to use the iPad. I don’t always have my iPad on me. In those cases, I don’t have my list with me either. I like the app and really didn’t want to switch, but I wanted an app that would sync. I switched to an app that syncs and it’s not bad. Functionally I like the way this app works. Unfortunately, I want the cloud capability.
I paid for this app and things ran great for a couple months. It became an everyday use and crucial part to my workflow. Out of nowhere stopped syncing. Just like others I attempted to contact this company to ask why this was. After about the 10th try I was finally messaged back & just like everyone else was told they don’t plan on fixing and must wait for #2 to come out. This was well over a year ago and still no #2. Get em off iTunes, I wouldn’t & I wouldn’t encourage anyone to give this company another penny.
Just bought mobile app to sync with lists on computer. Now I find out that it computer app won’t sync and developer has no plans to fix. Wait for to do lists 2 to come out. What kind of solution is that? I want my money back.
This app has a known issue that it will no longer sync with Dropbox. Developers say function will be available in v2 but no eta for release.
Beware! False advertising. This does not sync, apparently no longer works with Drop Box.
Sync stopped working and tech support is non-existent. This nullifies the usefulness of the program.
The MAC version is so darn good that I just had to show some love and get the mobile. I use the "Getting Things Done" method flawlessly with the To-do Lists and Clear (my master projects List). I currently have 24 lists with a combination of 6 time different commitments (from-10 Minutes to 4 Hours) and 3 energy levels (high medium low) and one high priority section for each time commitment. So for example I have a 30 Minutes High Energy to do list and a 2 Hours High Priority to do list. This method takes all the guess work out of David Allen's method of "choosing the right next action." This method is called "bucketing." To-do lists blows all the other more expensive apps out of the water because each list is incredible compact (rolls in on itself)- thus my 24 list float transparently on my screen at all times with zero clutter! I've tried Todoist, Tick Tick and Wunderlist- they don't even come close. The main reason being that these expensive apps require you to folderize everything, which keeps your lists out of sight and out of mind. David Allen talks about how generally people go "numb" to their todo software because the "subtle efforting" of digging through folder projects for tasks is tiring and also prevents your from getting that clean "Birds Eye View" of the numerous projects you engage in. I highly recommend bucketing with Todolists and finding another program for your main project folder. I use Clear because I place huge importance on aesthetics- it might leave some users frustrated. (BTW the aesthetics on the Todolists Mac App are stellar! My 24 lists are in a wonderful colored gradient and with the translucency option, your workspace will catch eyes!).
Love this app! I just wish it had a couple of extra features and I wish the developers were still working on it – the last update was in 2015. I wish it would sync through iCloud instead of Dropbox. I also wish that when you added items on the mobile app, the added item would land at the top of a list, instead of the bottom. (Adding items on the mobile app is a little bit tedious!) Otherwise, I love this app and it helps me tremendously and I can recommend it with confidence!
