Description

You quite certainly have many tabs open or pinned that are very useful, but not needed right now. They don’t deserve to be bookmarked, although, are too important to be lost in a browser’s reading list. Toast is a place to save them.
Toast helps you control open tabs by saving & closing the ones that aren’t needed at this exact moment, so you can be more efficient working on one thing at a time.
There are many ways people use Toast, below are a few. If any resonates with you, go ahead and try it. It’s free and takes only 2 minutes to set up.
- Save Quora, StackOverflow, Youtube... findings to reference later
- Organize various Google Docs and Drive file links by client or topic
- Save your research for a new project, degree work, market study, etc
- Collect a list of design, photo, code... examples to send as a single link
- Save and close an entire window to start working on something else
- Open multiple links in a single click (prepare for a webinar or specific type of work)
- Move open tabs from one browser to another. All together.
Save every link that’s useful to you. Organize it however you want.
For those, who are tired of massive full-page tabs or bookmark managers, and are looking for alternatives, Toast can be an unexpectedly interesting solution thanks to its native, minimalistic design and the largest browser support.

Toast for Safari Reviews

Who in their right mind would agree to this?

Toast for Safari: Tab Saver - Can read and alter sensitive information on webpages, including passwords, phone numbers, and credit cards, and see your browsing history on the current tab’s webpage when you use the extension. (Who in their right mind would allow this?)

Scam Artist, Stay Away

Tricked me into paying for an annual subscription. Haven't heard back. Others have reported spam emails and social media login attempts after getting the extension. Stay safe and stay away. Get OneTab or anything else but don't get this.

Life changing

aggieprof on

This app is absolutely life changing. I accumulate so many tabs while doing research that my browser eventually becomes unusable. I don't want to close the tabs for fear of losing what I found, but I don't have time to archive everything somewhere else, where I'll just end up with the same kind of clutter. I have been searching for a solution to efficiently capture my browser tab information that plays well with Safari and other MacOS browsers without success. Toast is the answer to my needs! Congrats to the developers. Please continue supporting this!!! Suggestion to developers: Please consider adding the ability to organize sessions into "folders" or create a "timeline" heirarchy. For me, I create a session that captures all of my research for the day. If these could be gathered into subfloders of daily, weekly, monthly, etc. sessions, it would be absolutely perfect.

Beware

I installed this app, and its permissions required seeing everything on a page, including secure information. I did not register, and I uninstalled the app. Within ~15 min afterwards,I began to receive notifications that someone was trying to login to my social media accounts. Beware.

Excellent

Love this extension. Now I don't have to keep 5 windows and 300 tabs open anymore and my laptop sounding like a drone trying to take off. Works in all my browsers so I can open any saved session cross browser. Doesn't get any better than that. Highly recommended

Account issue

Lilobell on

United States

From the moment i created an account, i started receiving spam!!!! UPDATE: the plugin developers replied quickly to help me solve this. Doesn't seem to stem from their end but they steered me in the right direction on how to handle this problem with Apple. Currently still using this extension as it is super useful and well desinged! Kuddos!

Another account? Really?

It was perfectly working before, without any bloody accounts. Why the heck you need my data now?

Need an account to use this

$SJ$ on

I heard about this app from a friend but after installing it's asking me to create an account to use browser extension, no thanks! Also looks like it's very limited to 5 sessions whatever that means.

App is now a subscription service????

JohnnyChang95 on

United States

This app moved to a subscription service... seriously why? I need to pay 7 dollars a MONTH to save more than 5 freaking sessions? I pay 7 bucks a month for Disney plus, why would I pay that to save my TABS? Developer, if you really are trying to monetize this basic af app, just make it a one time purchase of 7 dollars or something, I'd rather pay that.
