This app is a easy way of keep track of spending and saving. Easy to navigate and use. I would love way of being able to save up in advance for more than one thing, but I have gotten around this by creating multiple wallets. Definitely recommend.

i've been using this app (and it's predecessor) for many years. it has completely revolutionised how i approach my finances. budgeting is now easy and accessible. im able to create short or long-term goals, save for special occasions, and distribute expenses across the period i choose. they continually improve the app as well. i tell all my friends about this and genuinely encourage everyone to give it a try- including you!

Used the previous version daily budget for many years can’t live without it now. Love this new version with brand new UX, it simplifies even more from the old app.

I’ve been using the original Daily Budget app by this developer and loved it. this is a hugely improved app with far better ‘insights’ than the original. it only took me a few days to migrate from the original version to this app (most of the time was spent learning it inside and out), and I’m now loving it and couldn’t recommend it higher for someone who wants to have a very simple but powerful personal finance manager

I used to use daily budget to keep track of my spending and I found it very useful. I stopped using it for a while, and recently decided to start again. In the process I was made aware of this new app, so I downloaded it and paid the fee to unlock everything, more than happy to support the developer. But I’m finding it much worse than the original, some small things have been changed that just make the things I want to do more difficult than they should be. Tapping on a day in the 3 day preview no longer shows the transactions from that day quickly and easily, and there are basically no settings in the settings menu anymore. The only way to edit the categories is via the new transaction button which is not at all obvious and kinda dumb. Similarly, there’s no easy or sensible way to manage recurring expenses, which used to be possible through a settings menu. Now to add a recurring expense, you add an expense and choose recurring, which also isn’t immediately obvious, especially considering there is a nice interface to set them up initially when you start with the app. To remove a recurring expense you have to go into the log of expenses and delete it… oh except deleting it will retrospectively delete that expense from the entire history, essentially corrupting your database and making all the numbers wrong. So the correct way is to edit an expense and change it’s end date I guess? That’s just really not obvious, and certainly doesn’t seem to be explained anywhere. What about if my mortgage repayment changes? I still want the expense there, I just want the amount to change on a specific day. I guess to do that I make the existing expense end, and then add a new expense that’s the same with the new amount starting on the following day? Why isn’t there an option to just change the amount of a recurring expense on a day? I REALLY want this app to be good because I want to use it and have it provide the insight into my spending and saving that is it’s whole purpose, but right now it’s not user friendly enough and from what I can see it’s even not even as good as the app it’s supposed to be an update from, which is quite disappointing.

I have moved to this app after years of using daily budget and it’s a huge level up in terms of ux. Keep up the good work.

Great app for now..Just hope it doesn't start to charge for unnecessary features and ruin a great thing going

The formula of showing you how much you have to spend everyday is magical! I’ve tried many budgeting apps over the years and nothing beats this one in terms of managing my spendings. Cannot recommend Today’s Budget enough!

Compared to the previous version the new version is great. I like how simple it is to use, the developers have done a great job. Also like the fact that it’s secure and days is encrypted, and you don’t need to give out your banking passwords etc.
