Crashes on the first drawing
Has crashed around first drawing 5 times. Obviously not playable until fixed. Also does not save the fact that you’ve gone through the tutorial already. Had to go over it again and again before giving up.
TokoToko is not free (it costs 4.99), however it doesn't contain in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Since most recent iOS updates, this game is unplayable after the first level. Gets stuck on chapter 2. Also bad for kids under Reading age since is completely text based instructions. Hard pass if you’re looking for something fun.
audio effects and video is very interactive and very connecting which is really a good thing
This is the best customized app for kids I have ever seen. Its great for spending time, to interact and play.
One of major areas of improvement for this app is that it requires the user to read all of the text bubbles that the characters say. This app says it's for 4+, but if you're less than 8 years old or a struggling reader, you can't play this game without adult support for the entire playtime. This is especially difficult because some of the words are harder and many of the words are made up words that the game has created. This is a major educational oversight but it seems like it could be easily fixed. It was too hard to get the photo just right as well. We ended up playing for about 10 min and then we moved on. Would I purchase this app again? Probably not.
We’re being stuck in the creastuck (lol). First we made it to the scene with the flower. But the game got stuck there. After we closed and opened it again, we can navigate directly to scene 1, but from there we’re not able to get anywhere. Instead of letting us draw the door, scene 1 gets closed and we’re back at scene selection. Scene 2 is still locked. Deleting the game doesn’t help either. Any ideas?
This is such a waste of money. The “play zone” can’t stand still, constantly asking you to reposition. The idea is great, it just doesn’t work. Sorry guys.
It wouldn’t work properly (Using iPhone XR), but after the iOS update it worked pretty nicely! It’s finicky about flat area, not uncommon problem of AR apps... The features have some bugs that while playing The drawings are (no longer) invisible unless interacting with a model, which is a giant detriment to the whole experience. The charming story and characters is great. I couldn’t find a way out of the game or to pause without flat out existing the app. Looking forward for the fixes and the continuation of this application in the future.
TokoToko is a great and smart game that firs both adults and children’s taste for creativity and fun.
