Lazy Moneygrab
Ahh! Wonderful, a game that nearly looks like it aspired to something good, but rather ended up a micro-transaction bid wearing bits and pieces from other, much better games. I guess the formula was: take a somewhat popular IP (on a discount), create a game with glaring design flaws, but just presentable enough visually to grant the appearance of effort, and design it to be tailored towards slowly chiding people to spend money. Unfortunately, when you have a base game like this, sans actual micro-transactions (omitted for the “Netflix” version of the original game), it becomes something worse…somehow.
