This app has lovely film filters and some other cool options but that it. It’s constantly closing itself when I am trying to save the photos/videos. One day they fix it and next days the problem continues. Longer video will be saving ages and most probably the app will end up shutting itself. Very annoying because this is truly one of my fav apps for photo editing.
The ready-made presets included in Tone Studio are the best I have ever found in any mobile app and that is why I keep persevering with it. However, the app is constantly glitching, crashing or being extremely slow to upload / download or to even just select images. Since the interface changed to that similar of VSCO the speed of the app went down significantly, I keep looking for new updates to fix bugs but every time it updates there is a new one. The copy and paste feature is excellent (when it is working) currently for me it is not has started only pasting half of the edit that I’ve copied from an image rather than the whole thing, so I’m having to go back in to each one and manually filter them anyway. I find myself constantly closing and restarting the app over and over again to get it to work which is very frustrating especially when trying to edit multiple images at a time. For the mean time I will keep paying annually for this app in the hope that it starts working efficiently but I beg that someone fixes all of the bugs!
The features offered on the app are great but since paying for a monthly description, in the last year I’ve had to email support FOUR times with features continuously not working and having problems with my purchases etc. Very frustrating as I love the potential of what the app can do but I always have problems. I have the newest and best iPhone, latest software update etc and still have problems. Feeling let down.
This now makes a huge difference to editing, my favourite app once again 👏🏻
The app was made by content creators, who just GET IT! So easy to use, makes iPhone photos look high quality, on the same level as a super expensive film camera! The filters are perfection. Cannot live without it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So quick and easy to use! I use this app for everyday lifestyle, fitness and food content and tone has the best & most natural looking filters for this. I Love the new updates with the crop feature 🤍 Best app for both video and photo editing.
I love how easy Tone is to use and all of the options and frames. It had a few glitches at the start but now it’s running smoothly definitely my favourite editing app!
It doesn’t work. No matter how many times I’ve updated the app, it keeps constantly crashing. I have to open the app about 5 times before it successfully launches. I won’t be renewing my subscription.
The RGB and CMYK colour editing is unbelievably useful, and this is the only app I’ve found that offers such in depth but easy to use video editing, but it just doesn’t reliably work. The colour editing mentioned above never works for me now (can’t even click on it) for over 6 months, I’ve re downloaded, emailed the developer, nothing. I have a new phone so 🤷 Shame because otherwise I’d be all over this!
When I edit the quality is compressed so I don’t know what it will look like properly until I have saved it and view outside the app There’s a glitch in that I cannot change the saturation/hue of colours I can no longer edit drone footage Clips are saved in 30 fps instead of the 60fps they were filmed in
