Published by: Yonac

Description

ToneStack GO is the ultimate UNIVERSAL app for signal processing: with the LARGEST and BEST selection of AMPS & FX, the latest advancements in modeling technology, and an unbelievably powerful yet simple interface – it simply shreds all the other guys.
Right away, enjoy a classic amp & cab, and 7 meticulously designed FX. Expand to a total of 46 amps, 44 cabs, and 101 FX – the largest collection on iOS.
Thanks to ToneStack GO's state-of-the-art “Virtual Circuit” technology, each ToneStack GO unit is the digital mirror image of a real analog topology. Unlike other FX apps that try to copycat with EQing and other gimmicks, ToneStack GO recreates the intricate designs of the real thing. The result is a warm, responsive tone with the natural behavior you find in analog units.
Amazing Selection of Pro Amps & FX
ToneStack GO offers a huge range of amps, cabs & FX: from sparkly clean to sizzling hot bias tube amps, iconic stompboxes, pro-grade rack units, and high-end reverbs, ToneStack GO the most complete plugin suite on the iOS.
ToneStack GO also brings many powerful guitar FX to the iOS for the first time: polyphonic octaver, harmonizer, realistic spring reverbs, virtual-reel tape delays are just a few examples.
The Most Versatile Signal Chain on iOS
Why be limited with just 4 or 8 FX that other guys max you out at? ToneStack GO lets you run a whopping 64 amps & effects simultaneously* so you can let your imagination run wild.
For even more power, ToneStack GO includes our unique ABY unit. Split your signal anywhere: run dual amp setups, switch or blend FX chains, or multiplex your signal via frequency splitting – countless permutations, all up to you.
You can match any amp with any cab (all cabs have 3 mics with distance & position settings); you can insert any unit anywhere – even between amps and cabs like a true FX loop. Managing your signal chain is as easy as dragging and dropping an icon!
inSTUDIO & Other Goodies
Wanna quickly jam out an idea, or cut a song and share it? ToneStack offers a powerful 8-Track recorder —first 2 tracks free— with plenty of friendly features. Fire up the built-in Tapedeck to quickly record an idea; create loops, or manipulate audio with its Hi-Q pitch/time shift. Share audio via email, WiFi, iTunes or copy/paste. Built-in tuner, metronome, special onSTAGE mode are just a few other amazing ToneStack features.
All the Pro Features of iOS
Enjoy the full power of the platform’s top MIDI and Preset systems. MIDI learn is super-intuitive thanks to ToneStack GO's interface: all the amp & FX controls are MIDI-programmable. Effortlessly create UNLIMITED banks and presets – share them at the touch of a button. ToneStack GO is an Inter-App Audio effect, and works in any Audiobus slot.

*Edit: 2023* Dude, you are killing me with these “new version upgrades”. I spent a ton of money on this app, (much more than I normally would). And now I discover that to stay current, I have to buy a new version and likely repurchase all the add-ons that I purchased for THIS one? That feels really wrong to me. I own much of the stuff you produce going back a very long time and as you can see below I have been a strong supporter, but after buying expensive updated versions of Galileo, and Magellan (I was mostly glad to support them even if they were costly) I now discover I need to move to new versions of Steel Guitar and ToneStack and I see no way to move my IAPs for either. Yeah, I’m sorry but I think I’m gonna have to let these go and focus my resources elsewhere. I can't really speak to the quality of the simulations, I will leave that to people who have spent more time with guitar amps and pedals. I will say that from my perspective as a long time producer of experimental music, this set of tools seems much better than most of the others like it for building original/odd/unique effects chains. That made it worth buying the full collection for me. There is some very neat stuff in here like the octiver, space echo, and rotary speaker. I feel like I have just scratched the surface, but I can tell it's going to be a well used tool in my arsenal.

Would be 5 stars but IAA not working

First, the good... This app sounds great, the live features are awesome, and the fact that you can buy individual effects instead of spending a ton on a bunch you don't need (like in BIAS FX) makes this one of the best. Now the bad, which is why it gets 3 instead of 5 stars... I have a lot of IAA effects, so I spent the 9.99 on the starter bundle to activate that feature, and I can't get it to work at all with my irig Duo, and when I just use the phone with no interface, the one IAA effect works, but none of the Tonestack ones do. It said something about sample rates... All of the effects I have would run at 44 or 48k, but there's no way to adjust.a sample rate in this app. Another problem I've had is when switching to a preset that has a lot of effects, it makes a loud noise that kind of sounds like what a noise would sound like if it went through that whole preset, effectively making changing presets during a performance impossible. I sent Yonac an email on their website over two weeks ago about both of these problems and still haven't heard back. If they weren't going to at least offer some support, I would have at least liked a refund for the starter pack. If these two problems didn't exist, this app would be almost perfect.

This has such a nice sound and flow but no auv3

Any hope of a port? I’ve bought a few modules over the years. And magellan is a cool synth the whammy and pitch shifter in here are some of my favorites would love to use them more.

Last update 3 years ago. Is there any update in the near future that could bring a background run feature?

Favorite guitar app yet

This app is the is, to me, the most realistic modeling app out there. Amps behave like they have real tubes, sounds are great, decent price, and let’s you get nerdy, without over doing it like in bias. My two criticism are I wish there would be more updates and new amps and effects, and I do get a fair amount of buzz through my irig2 hd. The noise suppressor effect worked great, but can kill sustain on quieter notes

Great for gigging

Tube breakup is more real sounding than others IMO. Midi learn gives live gig options with BlueBoard and midi control knobs. I like it.

Great, but one suggestion

filoxeniaknock on

It would be better if by default files recorded within tapedeck feature retained the bpm and last amps/fx which the file was last played or saved Is there a setting for this?

What is the difference between Tonestack Go and Tonestack?

Recording freezes

IronAntony on

United States

I love this app, it’s got a great range of sounds and pedals, I love that you can use Tonebridge with it, the only issue I’m having is when recording I will be laying down a second track and it will just freeze up. It will freeze while I’m trying to lay down a second guitar or at any random time. That’s very frustrating because I lose great recordings which renders this app useless to anyone experiencing this problem. I did spend money on it but that’s not even the point, I would love to use this app. Other than that it’s a great app. I’d love it if you guys could maybe update it with a fix or let me know if there’s anything I can do in settings. Thanks
