As someone who has only been playing Magic for a few weeks with little to no prior knowledge of how to play, this app has been extremely helpful to me. From the quickly-accessed glossary to the news updates, the timer to the counter of poison counters, this app is extremely useful. However, I would recommend that both you and your friend have this app, because it only keeps track of ONE person's life... But this shouldn't be an issue, as it is a free app. :) 5/5!
I have gotten into many arguments over the ruling for cards and their effects and such, and every single time I have pulled out this one app and we learned how. It is by far the best magic app I have ever had
This MtG app is good because it includes a glossary. I just downloaded a different app because I wanted more visual aesthetics but I just downloaded this again because I needed to look something up and the other one couldn't.
It's a great app I really like using it. It's silk and easy to use.
It has most of the info and rules you're looking for, but it's been missing a few things I've tried to look up. The rules and glossary don't have links though so when it sends you off to look something up you have to back out and go hunt it down in another category. It also doesn't put numbers on each entry so you have to either count down from the top yourself (starting at 0) or keep going in and back out until you find the number you're looking for.
I love this app. I had fun reading the articles every day, and was excited to see new ones. Recently they stopped updating in the article tab. I now have to delete and reinstall the app to see new articles. It's very frustrating. If this was fixed I would recommend this app.
It's useful but the rules button causes it to crash almost instantly. It needs a countdown timer and the ability to add another player.
I was hoping this app would prove useful. Unfortunately, it crashes every time I open it & choose the Rules section. PLEASE FIX THIS APP!!
