Pretty simple, but I’ve found it to be super helpful
I am horrible at journaling — I can never find the time and it overwhelms me just to think about sitting down and trying to determine what to write about. This app takes all of the decision making out of it and motivates me to actually record how I’m feeling every day. I also love getting to track patterns — such great insight! Also, the timer element is such a great idea; it forces you to be honest about how you’re feeling and provides more valuable insight than your standard journal. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend to improve your self-awareness! Top of Mind has very quickly helped me become more self-aware of things (from small to large) that impact my overall mood and energy levels. Because of the quick entries and seamless interface, I leave more entries throughout the day vs. only self-reflecting at the end of the day (by then I often already forget about my various intraday feelings). This has helped me identify patterns and have a better understanding of what exactly causes and has the most impact on my moods. The AI feature takes the journal entries to the next level and is particularly insightful given it is often difficult to self-reflect and connect the dots on my own
Top of Mind addresses many pain points found in regular journaling or other journaling apps in that it prompts you for input at different times of day, doesn’t require too much effort to complete, yet generates significant insights / actionable to-dos. I would recommend this to anyone looking to start journaling that is hesitating to do so because of the time commitment involved.
