When I recently opened my account with them, they made me wait three months to receive my card. I kept calling them and telling them I wasn’t receiving it and all they kept telling me was that they were going to cancel the previous one and send it again after the fourth trial of me calling I finally received my card and now when it comes to me making my payments if I’m behind a payment and I make my normal payment the next month or even give a little bit more they will still charge me the $41 because they go based on what you owe them the month before so all I am doing is paying for the late fees and my amount never goes down. I’ve called customer service several times and not only does a person that not understand proper English answer me but they can never help me out with the issues that I have since I’ve opened this card I have never had a good experience with them terrible customer service! Do yourself a favor and never open an account with them.

I too have had an issue with making extra payments to this card company. I have my normal scheduled amount that comes out on the 1st, which was fine. I had some extra money to pay down my balance so I authorized the company to do take another payment out of my connect savings account. Well, now I cannot use my card at all. How is this legal? I have called customer service and they are no help as well. I shouldn’t have to go through all this hassle in order to use a service that they provide that I pay for. This company will be reported!
Provincial credit card and app
The app will log you out, won’t save your account or password etc. This system is like outdated. It’s like taking a Time Machine back to the early 2000’s lol. The card doesn’t come with a chip, since the app logs and locks you out you can’t pay through the app. So heads up if you need to tap to check out anywhere you can’t with this card and you have to call to pay your bill. I think I’m going to pay the card off and close my account. The 2000’s were fun but I like banking in this decade.

Worst card to have and the app is ever worse. How archaic tech is even accepted.
Don’t make more than one payment in a month!
So I make my payments usually, on the 4th of each month. They are always paid out of my connected checking account. This past month, I made my regular payment on the first, and because I have a few extra funds, I made another payment (from my same checking account) on the 13th. The payment from the 13th was processed and my balance changed but my available credit stayed the same. After about 2 weeks i finally called and was told, I needed to Mail or Fax my bank statement to prove the payment had cleared and they put a suspension on my card for multiple payments. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANY NONSENSE LIKE THAT! I made the payment from the same account I’ve had linked to my card for years and now they’re suspending my card because I made 2 payments in one month??? If you can avoid this card, I would do so! Not only am I unable to use my card, but because I don’t have access to a fax machine, I would have to mail my bank statement and wait for them to receive it before they unlock my card! Crazies thing I’ve ever heard. OH and they told me if I pay the remaining balance I can close my card, so they will take my money from this account to close my card, but won’t take it to make an extra payment?? Horrible!!!!
Face ID does not work consistently
Every few times it requires you to log in with actual username/password to access app. Not user friendly.
Redundant app log in
The app has biometric login but it is unhelpful when logging in because it wont let you. It always says “ you are not enrolled in biometric log in” but when I log in the long way and check the settings the toggle is already pushed to green so I don’t understand. I think the company thinks they dont have to put any effort into a well performing app. We just want the things to work as they should which is not asking for too much especially since you are charging an up front annual and membership fee. Do better.
Why add Face ID logins
I’m so tired of setting Face ID only to be kicked out every other time and being told I’m not using it for this account. Every other account I have my Face ID works every time. I don’t have to keep opting in. Like come on now! FIX THIS! It’s ridiculous!
