Great game, one problem.
As a battle focused player, I want the AI to perform significantly better. Or alternatively, add multiplayer. I find the AI consistently charging my infantry instead of properly forming up into a line.

I’ve been looking to this port since you made it with Medieval. Even then it had seemed unlikely to anticipate Medieval II and then you released Empire. It totally worth buying, I have already finished Prussia campaign so I can say so far that no problems were noticed at all on iPhone 12. Yes, it would be excellent if the developers had improved the AI, particularly for this port, but frankly, it seems implausible. Nevertheless, this port is seamless. Developers did what seemed impossible, that’s why they are such kind of developers from whom I would buy a game no matter of price! Gosh, I love Feral Interactive. Also, for users’ information, I gather that if the game crashes without a reason it’s probably a problem with a lack of storage on the device
Is a good game if you play the mobile version MEDIEVAL II if u like that one u might like this one and also there’s DLC coming after this game I do not know it will come probably December or January
The battles are very buggy and ai isn't cohesive enough do really do what's expected. I believe that to enjoy this game you need to lower certain expectations from previous titles.
I love the game I literally only have 2 complaints why can’t I play the American colonies in grand campaign? I beat the mini campaign they have for them And can y’all please add blood just for that extra oomf to the game but besides that you can’t beat the grand-strategy gameplay this game brings keep up the good work
I buy every Total War and CoH games you have. You guys should redo the WWII Close Combat game series! I bet it would be easy for you guys and we’d buy every one in the series!
Since having a cheap surface tablet for my college classes in 2011 I dreamed of being able to have a pc styled tablet that could run empire total war… I had a huge PC built in 2009 just for playing this game when I was in the army and stationed in South Korea. It is a favorite of mine. I wish I was better at it but I’ve had a lot of fun losing. I’m not sure yet how well this will play but I just bought an IPad on sale at Best Buy (Black Friday sale), On Credit, because I am so excited to play this. It’s smaller than my ROG Laptop that I enjoy, and will be far more battery friendly. I hope it works as good as I’ve dreamed it would. If there are bugs please don’t abandon this title and fix them when you can.
This is the best total war game in my opinion. I only think one thing missing which is being able to play as minor nations.
The ai in this game for when in battle charge to much the infantry should not be going to bayonet combat every time my men will be shooting and then litterally the entire enemy army will charge into them and it’s just super annoying because it’s not histrical they should actually fire the muskets like they would do in real life instead of charging in
First the pros: 1. The map is freaking amazing, as is the sheer number of factions and the province system 2. Naval battles are a fun new feature 3. AI on the campaign map is reasonably aggressive and diplomatic Now for the cons: 1. The battle ai is pretty stupid and will do things like initiate and fight battles when it’s far outnumbered, march its soldiers around in circles, and charge you with its artillery which is yet to fire a shot (plz fix this). 2. Simply due to the nature of the time period involved, the battle strategies and units become repetitive after a good while. 3. There is no dynastic family tree system which is a staple of the other two mobile total wars and could be a really cool addition since historically the royal family trees caused wars of succession and political realignments (future feature maybe?) All in all: a great game that I would recommend if you enjoy Rome and Medieval
