TotK Travel Guide is a companion app for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for Nintendo Switch. You can use it while playing the game to keep track of your progress, mark interesting locations on the map, and make notes. It can also help you find all kinds of materials in Hyrule, such as fruit, fish, and ore, and it's a quick reference guide for all the Armor sets in the game.
The app provides a spoiler-free experience: by default all locations and regions are hidden. Only as you unlock them in the game, you make them visible in the app as well. This means you can explore Hyrule and use this app without being spoiled by seeing everything the game has to offer. But if you just want to unlock everything in one go, that's possible as well of course.
At the center of the app you'll find a map of all levels of Hyrule. You find markers for Shrines, Towers, Villages, Stores, Korok Seeds, Lightroots, Treasure Chests, Minibosses, and many more interesting locations. Tap and hold the map to add your own custom pins to the app as well.
You can easily add notes to any location and pins on the map, and you can also make Quick Notes while you are playing the game. The game has an easy list that shows you all notes you have created. And keeping track of todo's is also easy with the Tasks feature that you'll find in the app.
TotK Travel Guide is a native app that puts a great interface front and center. The app is fully integrated with iOS: your data is synced with iCloud, offers a dark mode and homescreen widgets, and the app even has support for advanced system features such as the Shortcuts app. You can change the language of all locations on the map to any of the languages supported by the game, including Spanish, German, Japanese, and Chinese.
TotK Travel Guide is built with love by a Zelda player and fan just like you. You can unlock all features of the app and support future development with a single, one-time in app purchase. The app does not have any subscriptions or ads.
This is a third-party app and not affiliated with Nintendo Co. Ltd.

So, I literally just got this app. Tried it out, and loved it. I was looking through all the things I could mark off and tried the armor. I was a little confused when all the
Armor pieces were checked as discovered instead of not having it marked at all. Then, I pressed the discovered icon and it took me to a one payment fee. So the question is, do I have to pay the fee to change it to either not discovered or discovered or is there just something I’m missing? That’s the only question I have, everything else is the best thing I’ve seen, very useful :)
Simply the best
Want to conquer all of Hyrule, above, below, and on the ground? Then this is the app you need. Beautifully designed to help you navigate the world, and with many thoughtful little features sprinkled in (Search!! navigation to a specific coordinate! Mark a place as visited.) It is a truly excellent app!
Wonderful Guides, Wonderful Developer
When I first started playing ToTK the first thing I did was look for a guide from Jeffery, seeing how far both the animal crossing new horizons guide and this ToTK guide has come in the last few years is a testament to the skill and dedication that goes into building them and I love getting to watch the guide evolve along the way! The direct responses to feedback and watching features added from popular requests make this a must have! I think my only requests would be adding the Bubblfrogs to the map or the compendiums, but not having them won’t keep me from looking forward to ticking off locations, items, and watching the completion meter for shrines inch closer to 100%!
What if we had such an app for BOtW
This is the most useful companion app for TOTK, love it
Awesome - for future consideration..
Wonderful map, makes TOTK a much better experience and is the type of tool one would expect a developer with 8 years of dev time to implement into the base product.
[CORRECTION: this functionality is built in]
My one ask which may be tricky but certainly fairly standard and doable (maybe already done but I don’t see this option) is to allow data export/import or accounts creation so I can switch between my iPad and iPhone and the maps are in sync.

Otherwise, what makes this app stand apart from others is quality of build and tracking progress which really makes this a very personal feeling application. It comes across as more of a travel journal than just a map/info dump. I kind of think of it as my own Sheikah Slate (Purah Pad). Top notch, everyone should get the + edition (I did and am loving it). Thank you for making a great tool!
Good so far.
This app is good so far I love the UI. However, it would be nice to see treasures listed in the shrine tab for what you can find in a shrine, but apart from that I think everything looks pretty swell. Please also, add zonai items to the materials bar so that I can search them and see which dispensers I can find them at, and expand on the materials that are listed because that’s not all of the materials that can be found for some of them. Would also be nice to see shrine walkthroughs in a different notes sections of the shrine menu. Please also add a main/side/side adventure checklist as well.
Preatty ok
The app is pretty good but I prefer more info on the items in the games ex: weapons fruit or food and ores. But the thing that I REALLY REALLY don’t like about it is that every time I try to get something done or look something up, it always takes me out of the app to my Home Screen and that gets me really annoyed.
Overall it’s okay but if your planing on getting this app just know that there are other options to explore so dont just stick to one app.
Beautiful
Stunningly well designed app, by far the best app for totk on iOS!!!
Jeffrey is the bomb.
This app is incredible - more than I could have asked for as someone who is a completionist and loves checklists. I am only sad that I’ve played this game for 250+ hours before I found the app. Thanks Jeffrey ♥️♥️
Great but
It’s really really great but I have update ideas update idea 1: the temples do an update where you can see how many temples you have gotten update idea 2: the legendary weapons it would be a great update for the legendary weapons to have their own slot but overall this app is great
