RNG IS ALL THAT MATTERS

To start, this is a genuinely good game; the only argument against this game is that it's a gacha game, which is true, but after 3 years, becomes really weak if it's still up and going strong. Oh, and also, it's not hard to be able to do a ten pull; just save up for any specific banners you want, but you might want to save up a LOT for banners. Not to mention the fact that the more recent friends that aren't L1 are either really strong, or better than the common L1 girlie. So yes, the game is easy, little to no VALID complaints.

A well-designed time waster

As an avid Touhou fan who started with the official shmup games first, this is a very casual game. It has all of my favorite characters, and good voice acting. The music choice and character portraits are pretty decent. However, the gameplay eventually gets very boring, especially when your friends (in-game term for playable characters) are really high level. But don't spend any money. It's not worth it. I say this even as an F2P.

I’m very lucky

How do I casually get 6 exclusive characters with 155 seal crystals.

Been Playing Since Launch

Although there are a few complaints I have, mostly the main story being updated at a snails pace (and when it is, we get mere bread crumbs of content as compared to the past chapters), and the horrific decision of adding in pure fes units which you can only strengthen with copies of the same unit, abysmal drop rate unless (surprise!) you spend real cash… But I do love this game a lot. It’s not exactly p2w (ignoring pure fes) and it feels much more fair compared to most games out there. I’ve yet to pay a single cent and I’ve got lots of epic and relic units from saving. Maybe one day I’ll buy something to show my support, but it’s not impossible for f2p to do well! If you do decide to play, keep an eye out for me in the helper menu, I’m known as Meyling! :)

All Good Yet One Big Problem

This game has a lot of good stuff and I don’t have many bad things to say about this game, but there’s is one thing that I am very annoyed and frustrated about and that is the filter, specifically the “Story Cards”. It is very flawed that it only helps you find the type of card that you want, not the type of card that you need. In otherwords, it only find cards like their type of effects when equipped, the type of card that it is or the amount of ranking stars. However, it doesn’t help you find the card that you NEED to boost your characters more. Sure, there is the “Status” button in which can help you look their type of effect it has from the cards, but their are so many of them that looking for the exact card can be a pain in the butt. I wish for something more… “quicker”, where instead for scrolling down the cards, you can limit it by just searching the cards of the effect that your looking for. For example, if I want to look a card that grants me the “Accuracy” effect, it would only search the effect of the card that has the same effect as others, while the rest that DON’T have that effect while be limited until the person decides to find another effect. This is just my personal opinion, but I think the filter for “Story Cards” is very flawed, and must need some better improvements for better searches.

I’m a fiend for anything Touhou related.

The story actually uses the “multiple worlds” concept well. I love how you can see the description of each universe and how it diverges and connects to other worlds. I also love how each Touhou game in the main series is the A-type universe. The fact that the PC98 era is even mentioned at all is amazing to me.
