Simple, useful
I have recently started to use your app to replace pencil and paper scorecards. I like it and find its simplicity and clarity a treat to use. At the risk of altering those characteristics and keeping in mind the app cost me nothing but with the aim of increasing its utility, I offer these suggestions. - Scorecard page: scramble and sand save - presently we are given the ability to record attempts but the value lies in knowing the ratio of saves/attempts. On my paper scorecard, I (and lots of others) record this info as a + or - and tally at the end of the round to track my percentage of saves for scrambling around the green and for sand saves. With the app, I combine the two and record all attempts (both greenside scrambles and sand saves and if successful slide the Sand Save button and by reviewing each hole determine the number of saves/attempts. Pretty clumsy. Penalties are of much less importance and I'd give up that line for a better tracking of my ability to get up and down around the green or from a sand bunker. I love the FIR and GIR buttons - important info and couldn't be easier. The map feature is of limited value (to me at least) Summary Statistics Page - I like it and it would be of more value if the info about scrambling and sand saves were here. Previous Rounds - would like the ability to delete an incomplete round. When an incomplete round is present, it messes with the Totals and Averages stats. I think the fact there are not 35,000 courses already loaded is just fine as is. I can load the courses in as I need them. No need to change.
