Trackd : Discover or Create

I really wanted to love this app. Full disclosure: I’ve been recording demos on Trackd since 2017. Unfortunately, since forcing all its users from Trackd to Trackd Studio, this project has clearly gone quite rapidly downhill. Strange UI design decisions, bugs galore, clearly no dedicated support team to address issues — not to mention random forced logouts and occasional data loss. RIP old Trackd! 😔

I had the app when you could just save audio to your camera roll, it was great - really easy and always worked. This new version of the app however doesn’t have the same ease, with the saving method now being the Virtual Vinyl - the audio on the Vinyls often breaks up and even has sections missing. Would love to see this fixed.

This app is changing the game as far as how music is made and delivered. Yas.

Forget anything else. A good simple app with flat design.

Great idea and initiative. Downloaded and played aroubd but got lost and interest faded because of the way it is designed. Steongly advise the team to do user testing and redesign the various flows, it is a really perplexing navigation om simple things like listening to a track and producing a track. Keep it simple, take away noise of lines and bring in some typography sensibilities.

The app is growing, in such an exciting way. This kind of innovation has seen the birth of apps like Soundcloud, Spotify, Instagram, and all the rest. It's a matter of time before trackd is the leader in that conversation with the features like chipin+ making music more fair for the people at the heart of it. A built in 8 track studio, the ability to remix the very same songs you fall in love with, and to emerge yourself in a vibrant, growing community this app has it all. If I could give 10 stars I would!

I’ve been a regular Trackd user for the past 6 months and I’m blown away by the community. I’ve discovered so much incredible music from independent artists that I would otherwise have missed, and also had the pleasure to communicate and collaborate with these artists directly. I’ve had a great experience sharing my own music in the app too. One of the best things about the app is the ChipIn feature which allows you to donate directly to an artist, something which is very much lacking in other streaming services. The built in recording studio can also be very useful for sketching out song ideas when you’re out and about, and makes collaborating with other artists simple. Would highly recommend!!!!

Ge… £19.49 Make sure you read the in app perches & collection of personal information! I used the old app £1.99 for extra 4 tracks that was it in, in app perches. No warning they were going to close down the old app, and introduce these charges! Ironically Trackd wants ( you ) to financially support other artists! Funny how the tables have turned on the consumer. The word ( Free ) was changed to ( Get ) on the App Store. Now everything is expensive!

Wonderful idea and great app! I’ve got a recording studio and access to a great network of collaborators in my pocket 24/7 thanks to this app!
