Description
TrackerStar is a FREE all-in one compass, countdown timer and GPS tracker. To meet some class rules no GPS data is visible during the race. For the full capability download the StartStar app which is also free and on iTunes.
TrackerStar is designed to help you:
• Count down to the start on the screen and by speech synthesis
• Sail upwind and downwind faster using the compass to detect shifts
• Save your routes on your phone
• Post routes to Facebook and Twitter
• Animate many boats on Google Earth after the race
• To meet some class rules no GPS data is visible during the race
As TimeStar uses your phone, it is cheaper than dedicated electronic compasses or starting aids for sale in the chandlers, in fact not only is it FREE, it does more too.
