Trainyard Express is a puzzle solving game unlike any that you've ever played. It's easy to learn but very tough to master. Your job is simple: get each train to a goal station. Red trains go to red stations, blue trains go to blue stations, etc. You control the trains by drawing track for them to follow. There isn't a time limit or even a score; the only thing you need to do is figure out a solution for each puzzle.
The first few puzzles are almost too easy, but as the difficulty increases you'll be thankful that you were able to practice the fundamentals of drawing track. As the game progresses, you'll have to use basic colour theory to combine trains of different colours, use timing to merge, and use every inch of your brain in your quest to beat the game.

Known issues (minor):
- If some provinces can't be unlocked even after you've solved all the available puzzles, that's a bug: Go to options, switch to player 2 then back to player 1 to fix it.
- Sometimes, the sounds stop working. Close the app using the multitasking bar to get sounds back.

I hope & pray for an update!

I seriously use to love this game so much it was probably one of the first games I ever played on an iPhone & im seriously so sad it’s no longer compatible with my newer phones it’s been a few years since saying it would be updated soon.. :,( still praying for a miracle though!!

I love this game. I am making this of an iPad Gen 1 and I like how the creator has this game still available for iOS 5.1.1 I love this game so much it's really fun to spend the time

The title says it all. I went back to look for this game as it was one I really enjoyed playing and I finished it in 2011, but I am not able to download it as the developer hasn’t updated it for the latest iOS. Please update this fantastic game!

Great game

I remember playing this game on my iPod touch years ago. It was my favorite game. I still check regularly to see if it has been updated. I really hope an update is in the works

Simply brilliant

The purpose of this review is to express my appreciation to Matt Rix for designing this game. Trainyard and Trainyard Express are the best logic puzzle solving games I have ever played. Game design is extraordinarily elegant and functional. It is not a memory hog or data collector. Solutions depend upon reasoning, not chance. Multiple solutions can be correct. Increasing game complexity is explained as it is introduced. And it is fun! Note to any other review readers: I have this game on a very old ipad. If you are fortunate enough to have an operable ipad with an old OS (3 through 8 are best; you can still manage to play with workarounds on OS 9 and 10), then download and enjoy.

I never write a review but this needs to be heard this was one of the best games I have ever played and that’s saying something because I have played over 1000 games and this comes nothing near it because it’s so much better you need need need need need to update this read the reviews with everybody else’s reviews because this game is absolutely amazing
