You want to use your GCQuad for Trackman Combine Tests and in your daily range, chip and pitch training?
With this app you can execute predefined drills, tailor them according to your needs or configure your own drills.
In addition you can just display and visualize launch, ball, club and trajectory data on indoor and outdoor ranges.
The app cannot be used together with GC3 because in contrast to GCQuad it uses an encrypted UnlockDevice message.
You wonder why values like carry, offline or total are not 100% identical to the values displayed on your GCQuad or FSX2020:
1. Use temperature and elevation from launch monitor (check Settings -> Environments -> Use Launch Monitor Temperature and Settings -> Environments -> Source for Elevation: Launch Monitor)
2. Foresight's ball flight calculations are not public, so I had to implement my own calculations which deliver slightly different results. The values I have checked so far have all had a maximum relative deviation of 3%. I will continue to work on reducing the deviation from the values displayed on the QCQuad.
If you want to do the drills provided by the app but need the values calculated by FSX2020 you can try out my free Microsoft Windows Application that reads the data from FSX2020 CSV exports here: https://combinetest.org
The current version of the app is targeted to iPhones although it can be used on iPads. However, the interface has not yet been adapted for iPads (is in planning for the next major release)
The app is completely free without any subscriptions or in-app purchases.
I started implementing this app because I could not find anything in the app store to connect reliably my iPhone with a GCQuad.
