I am using it currently only with texting my Danish friend. Their response is very good and they enjoy not having to translate.
Review of font
It’s a good tool as reviewed but OMG…the font is so light grey I can barely see it and I have no vision issues. It just adds to translation stress. Is this a way to save money on ink, a fad, someone’s idea of innovative? It really needs more easily read contrast. Let’s be functional.

Terrible APP
Terrible APP rarely works, always asking to renew subscription even though i have paid for a year, double hilling (turns out I was also being billed monthly—they refused to refund me). Rarely works properly!! Customer service very slow and unresponsive. Will definitely not renew (they refused requests for refunds)

I paid for a free app
OK , I’ll try this again. Last review fell into a hole. Powered by Google, you say? Well, Google translate does offline translation, doesn’t interrupt with promotions (yes, even this paid app, Pocket Translate, that I foolishly subscribed to) and I’m guessing that Google translate has some kind of support, though I didn’t need it. OTOH, Pocket Translator does not do offline translation, it has intrusive notifications that hit at just the wrong time, like at a metro station, and support is Zendesk, with inane and irrelevant knowledge base links. I subscribed for a month and never used this app because it was hard to use and was worthless unless I had a wifi or cellular connection. And user ratings and reviews in the App Store? One word, five star reviews like “great!" Definitely real.
