Why are black holes black? What are gravitational waves? And what can we learn about the universe by observing gravitational waves? The app provides background information on the physics behind mass, gravitational forces and black holes, and gives insights into the study of the universe through the observation of gravitational waves.
"Trapped in Gravity" was developed by scientists of the Cluster of Excellence "Quantum Universe" at Universität Hamburg.
Quantum Universe is funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) under Germany’s Excellence Strategy – EXC 2121 „Quantum Universe“ – 390833306.
