Tree Identifier: Wood & Leaf ‎

This app is a waste of space in your phone. It does a terrible job identifying trees. Something feels off that they even have a 4.5 rating because it simply doesn’t work, as you can see by a number of other recent reviews

I wanted this to work so bad. I am horrible at identifying trees and wanted to know what’s in my hard. I wish I could attach pictures to this review to show that the same picture resulted in first the app saying it only identifies tress then giving 4 different tress for the same picture, none of which was a pine tree which I am sure it wasn’t.

I put in for the free 3 day trial and did not want to continue. They charged my account and would not refund my money. Beware.

App is not accurate

Unless you pay, you are limited to one identification per day Worse- you cannot adjust the camera frame. So if the tree you want identified, has another tree close enough, you may very well get identification of a tree you already knew But you can’t try again -at least that day One id per day ? Ludicrous.
