I would give this app a higher rating if it had an attribute for tree height. Not sure why this important data item was left out.
This would be a great app if the map could be updated. Based on what I can see the satellite map is at least two years old which makes the app basically useless.
I wanted to use this app to take a tree inventory on a forested parcel that was devastated by wildfire over 20 months ago. The only map in the app shows a verdant canopy of trees - so almost 2 years later, the map has not been updated.
-There are places on the map where it is impossible to pin any trees because clouds are blocking it. -Having to log in every time is a bummer due to the fact it takes so long to load. Maybe add Touch ID? -I would love it if you didn’t need to be standing right next to the tee to pin it. -Please please please update the maps, super out of date. -Add saved custom details so instead of typing the same thing over and over you can get your inventory logged quicker by having a drop down option of your custom details. -Great app, just poor execution
The app is a perfect inventory app with preloaded species! Except recently the app freezes and closes when you try to add a photo to the point. No bug available to fix or contact info that I could find.
App works well. Wish it had a function to tap on the map to add a tree in areas where GPS is less accurate or where tree is inaccessible.
