Treevolution? What ? Why ?


In my journey to become a somewhat decent bonsai artist/enthusiast I struggled a lot with keeping track of what I did when on my trees, what did I do last year on this buxus and how ? How did it look when I got my hands on it for the first time? After the first year ? After I did the first styling ? … I got a lot of information from my teachers, but was not able to get the most out of it just because I forgot …. That's why I started to develop Treevolution, a platform to manage my bonsai journey as easy and effortless as possible.

What can it do for me ?


Treevoltion makes it easy to keep track of all the actions you performed on a tree. After you created your account you can start adding trees to the platform and start adding "actions" to it. A action is something you did on the tree or just some pictures you took of it on a certain point in time. Treevolution will keep track of the time and will offer you a nice overview of all what happened with this tree, both in text and picture format. Treevolution works seamlessly on both smartphone and PC. The idea is that you can document your actions on a tree while working on it. So after you have done some pruning, fertilizer, restyling,… just start Treevolution on your phone, make some pictures and say in a few words what you have done… Next year you will like this little effort when you see the result of your actions. But can it do more ?

Yes! In Treevolution everything you document is under your private account and saved in an encrypted way on our servers. Nobody else can see the content of your account …. Unless you want to... You can add bonsai friends to the platform with whom you can share your trees. Now your friend can see the evolution of the tree you shared and even comment on your actions.
What about my teachers?

Treevolution contains a special teacher function. This function makes it possible for bonsai professionals to work together with their students on trees without sharing all their knowledge to the world. For more information on this function please contact us.
