The Trek Accessories App adds additional functionality to the Trek CarBack Radar Rear Bike Light by giving cyclists advanced alerts and a real-time visual depiction of detected rear-approaching vehicles.
Helps you see cars
When you pair your CarBack Radar with the Trek Accessories App, you’ll get visual and audible alerts of detected rear-approaching vehicles from up to 240 m away. Once the detected vehicle is within 150 m, you’ll see its positioning on your phone screen in real time. Once the vehicle is within 75 m, you’ll be able to see whether or not the vehicle has moved over for a potential pass. Once the vehicle has passed, you’ll get an audible alert indicating that it’s gone.
Helps cars see you
Your Trek CarBack Radar also features a Daytime Running Light that can be seen from up to 2 km away during daylight hours. When you pair your radar with the Trek Accessories App, you’ll be able to turn on your radar and see the real-time battery status and low-battery alerts, all from the app screen.
Audible and visual alerts
Know what’s coming with visual and audible alerts for rear-approaching and passing vehicles. Whether you keep your phone mounted on your bars or safely stowed in a jersey pocket, we have alert options to best fit your preferences and the ability to turn the audio alerts on or off allows you to customise the experience.
Please note: the Trek Accessories App currently only works with Trek CarBack Radar Rear Bike Lights.
