To use the camera with a smartphone as the image previewer/shutter button the app requires access to all photos and their metadata in your phone. The app won’t work without that permission and the instructions on the Trisio website obfuscates that this step is necessary.

This app doesn’t work at all unless you: 1.) allow access to ALL photos (why not just one album?) 2.) enable cellular access (why not just the direct access WiFi connection?) 3.) precise location data (why not just allow for disabled GPS Metadata?) 4.) discover devices on local network (I get this is needed for talking to the camera, fine) I’m sure this is just farming personal information, photos and locations and sending it off to servers unknown. Sending this back.
All they gave to do is have their app request local network permissions. Too lazy to fix tho which means this app and their camera are trash.
So I am going to refund this
