Truepic Vision FAQ
Is Truepic Vision free?
Yes, Truepic Vision is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Truepic Vision legit?
⚠️ The Truepic Vision app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Actually no, it’s a company called EXL Holdings. The are an AI analytics company and you’d be foolish to allow them to use this app to collect massive amounts of your personal data to feed into their AI engine for the purpose of making decisions about you. There are no terms to limit what they can do with your data once they are in possession of the data. If you voluntarily give them this data, you’re screwed.
App doesn’t even work
Click a link, it goes to the browser. The browser says it’ll open in the app, but it only ever takes you to the App Store. It’s impossible to just paste the link into the app itself because I guess that’s too hard?
Hot garbage. Fix this app that does NOTHING or stop exclusively partnering with other sites.
Issues with the app. I’m going in circles
When I try to open the app I keep on getting this message and it takes me in circles back and forth “Please update to the latest vision camera app to proceed” anyone know how this works? I’m going in circles here.
Terrible
Required to use this for Jewelers Mutual. Enable all permissions but yet it keeps telling me my camera is disabled. I have even gone out of the app and checked it through settings and everything is enable. Have deleted and reinstalled. Have even tried it on another iPhone and iPad.
Simple - For Giving away your information
Read all the terms and privacy policy. This is fine for a fender bender to send photos. Using it for a home inspection opens up the possibility that someone has a full picture of your home to includes safes, brands and maybe the location of the safe in the home if you take the photo wrong? Whose side is my insurance company on here?
Do you have Customer Service or not?
I used this app to apply for a service that did not work out. Now I am requesting to have all of my photos deleted and my account closed only I keep reaching out to customer service through the app email, and getting no response. How do I get a live person??????? it’s unethical to ignore your customers and their requests.
Horrible interface, deliberately dysfunctional
Absolutely atrocious application. Doesn’t support hardware click (volume up button on iPhones). Doesn’t support wide or zoom lenses on iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Im supposed to get a picture of the entire side of my house in one shot? Sure, if I trespass on my neighbor’s property. Wants me to to take a picture of the heating system in the attic and the electrical panel with the panel open. Sure, why not ask for a picture of the roof and solar panels taken while skydiving too!
Ridiculous, broken app that deliberately breaks the user internet and ignores high quality lenses on modern smartphone cameras. The terms and conditions are pretty atrocious too. Just have a property survey professional come out. They’re welcome to climb into the attic, under the house, on the roof, etc. (assuming they’re sufficiently insured).
Awful.
The app doesn’t work with the link and they expect you to try from multiple devices. There’s not an actual person to talk to just an email address that sends directions for steps that don’t work or resolve the issues with their broken links. I’m just trying to hire employees not get a degree in IT.
Zero stars
The only thing this app does is upload photos, yet somehow it hangs and crashes. Forced to use it by USAA insurance. If I could rate at zero stores I would.
No wide angle option
My insurance company required that I use this app to take pictures of the interior of an insured property. Since this app doesn’t support the wide angle lens on iPhones, it’s very difficult to capture useful images of small rooms.
