So here is the app Thermaltake offers for their broken controllers and broken software to control the most expensive RGB fans on the market. Neonmaker support continues to be nonexistent. The app looks and functions like an intro to programming project. They continue to spend consumer money anywhere but on developing and supporting their own products.
Went through the process of allowing access through my firewall. My desktop shows up in the list, but when I click on it is when the app just closes. I can make changes to the fans in the system software side but not through the iOS app. Love these fans and have been using them for a couple years now. The app on the other hand has been a bit of a struggle.
Nothing special it connects to my pc and let’s me change color. Would be nice to be able to adjust fans from it but not a deal Breaker
App doesnt work. Isnt easy to maneuver and just a very unready app
(1) On your PC, hit the Windows key, or open the Start menu, and type "firewall". (2) Select "Allow an app through Windows Firewall". (3) Find "tt rgb plus" and/or "tt riing plus rgb" and hit the check boxes for "private" and "public". (4) Open the PC "TT RGB Plus" app and the iOS "TT RGB Plus" app, and it should all work.
Whether after wake or from the app, it never stays connected. Always have to restart app on computer.
I have my PC connected to the app, but nothing happens when I use it.
This app “loses connection to PC” every time it’s opened on my phone. My PC synced with my phone without issue. As a side note I have a TT900 case 14 RGB fans two pump/res combos and two radiators 12 TT RGB fittings. (560mm gpu loop, 360mm cpu loop) All Thermaltake products. No way to control them on my pc as the version on their web page doesn’t appear to work with the latest version of Windows 1809 or some such issue. Also half the control units didn’t work out of the box. Less than worthless. Very costly and nearly useless. Never again. #Thermaltakeyourmoneyandrun.
This is no instruction on how to do this in the app. I searched the web and nothing came up as well. Can we get an update or something with instruction.
