A+++!!
I lovelovelove Turkish Style Cooking! If you’re new to Turkish cooking, don’t be a bit afraid to start with this app or site. Most of the recipes are very quick and easy to prepare, and the flavors are so authentic (have visited several times), healthy, and fresh. Chicken siron will knock your socks off, and once you get the hang of Turkish salads, you’ll find yourself bringing your own Turkish-style salad creations to every church potluck you attend! The soups are lovely—heartwarming and nourishing with robust but simply presented flavors. I love the new-style recipes from Kevser that take old-world consciousness and apply them to new modes of cooking, like the numerous vegan recipes, too! I’m not a vegan, myself, but I love vegetables, and I know vegans, so these recipes might make it into your potluck rotation, too! Lol The one thing I miss from the website versus the app is the introductory commentary from Kevser, which is not included in this app. I love reading those on the site for the history, recipe insights, cultural perspective, and just plain humor! Kevser is funny! I’d love to hang out with her! But I understand that an app developer (and recipe seekers) might want a streamlined app, especially when they’re being stored on phones. This has been my go-to site for recipes for months, though, and even though you can use the app for free (with ads), I opted to pay to support the team over there. I have yet to cook through everything there, but I’m definitely trying!! Lol God bless the whole team over at Turkish Style Cooking!! Keep doing what you’re doing!! Big love to you from Texas!!
