Description

Acquiring the ability to take turns may help develop patience, cooperation, social etiquette, and be a foundation for building strong relationships. The Turn Taking apps by Judy Lynn Software is designed to teach this concept by having two students alternate pressing their prompts to uncover a picture. When the picture is revealed, a video reward related to the picture is presented in a movie theater setting. A short buzzer sound effect is played for out-of-turn presses. The app allows you to customize a student's prompt by selecting from the default stock photos or use a photo from your photo gallery.
The students take turns uncovering the pictures by either touching their prompt on the screen or pressing their switch. The app allows you to preview one activity. The in-app purchases contain twelve activities each. A discount is offered for purchasing all 5 groups. The pictures and videos are highly motivating. The Turn Taking app is designed for all students who require reinforcement of their turn taking skills.
The students interact with the app by either touching the ipad directly or pressing their switch. For switch accessibility, the app has been programmed to work with the AbleNet Blue2 Bluetooth Switch, Pretorian Technologies interfaces, and RJ Cooper Bluetooth Switch Interface. The App will also work with a Bluetooth wireless keyboard.

Glad to have access back for these apps, because my students love these! I like how we can customize with pictures, to help a student better understand whether it is his turn or mine. The video at the completion of each puzzle is a big hit!
