What's with the cover picture for two iconic US shows 'Friends' and 'Sex in the City' showing Asians instead of original cast members or actual show logos? Makes me think this app is buggy or a potential snooping app! Also, episodes missing or inaccurately listed under wrong season. Ex., Midsomer Murders missing premier episode of Season 1 “The Killing at Badger’s Drift” and the season 20 is missing 2 episodes “Till Death Do Us Part” and “Send in the Clowns”
Jonathan Creek series is missing the following episodes: The Grinning Man (2009), The Judas Tree (2010), The Clue of the Savant’s Thumb (2013), and Daemon’s Roost (2016).
Excellent app
I’ve been using this app for years. It’s perfect for keeping track of what you have watched and what’s upcoming. With so many streaming services this app is a must to organize what episodes you’re currently on.
Suddenly Useless
This app used to update, give me alerts about shows starting soon, etc. Now it doesn't show art for the shows, update with new episodes, or load seemingly anything. No idea what happened here because I used to tell people about it and now I can't even use it. May just end up deleting it at this point. Ugh
Time Zone Issur
I love this app and have been using it for years. but there’s only one problem that keeps you from giving it the fifth star.
It doesn’t seem to know what time zone I’m in. For example, shows that come on at 8 PM disappear from the “today“ list long before 8 PM. I haven’t actually taken the time to look close enough to see exactly when they disappear, but I’m guessing it’s probably three hours prior, and the thing probably thinks that I’m on the East Coast or something, but again, that’s a guess. I haven’t actually monitor that closely, probably because I was assuming an update would fix it at some point. Since that hasn’t happened, I hope they will cover than an update soon, now that I brought it up.
Strangely, though, I do seem to get the 15 minute notifications on time, so the issue does not even seem to be consistent.
Basically unusable
The interface could be better. When searching it doesn’t seem to prioritize perfect matches to what you typed in. After every few searches I have to restart the app, because it is the only way to resolve an error message where it insisted my phone wasn’t connected to the internet when it definitely was.
iCloud sync not working
It shows my membership active on both devices, both devices have the app on for iCloud, but nothing shows up on one device.
Oh, great - ads
So not only are Gold members expected to pay for the “service” now after they had already paid full price for the app, and were supposed to be free of advertising, but now the developer puts ads into the app to promote the other apps they’re putting out
Error message
I keep getting error message trying to add shows
Best TV tracker of all time
I’ve been using this app for I think like 8 years and honestly it’s perfect and so amazing
Folders Breathes New Life Into App - But Still Very Buggy
The Folders update just installed and I started messing around with it. It is already a game changer. I did need to read in app prompt instructions to understand how they work, but it was simple after that. I was at first weary I couldn’t move the Folders to the top of my list of shows, but then I discovered the Folder Filter which makes it easy to view each filter. It would be nice if the app remembered the last view I had so at startup it can take me straight there at next launch. This cleans up so much clutter when you have so many shows added. Love this update.
Edit: Unfortunately the new Folders are still buggy. Sorting is a big issue and eventually messes up all your sorting. I started having shows leap out of folders. So I’m hoping the next update will patch this.
