Some videos just don’t play.
As title says. Looks like a good app but can’t use it as some videos play, others don’t. Frustrating.
Almost perfect
I really enjoy this app, I find the approach to learning French via listening to the videos really engaging and challenging in a great way. What starts out feeling impossible becomes much more understandable and I feel like I’ve learnt something every time. My only problem is that when you come to learn the vocabulary afterwards, sometimes the words don’t give you a translation, and there’s no way to change the translation out of French or signal that there’s a problem.
A great way to practice listening. I like the way the videos are all real.

improved functionality - now provides a good range of activities and enough variety to keep me interested and motivated. I really like the news videos …
Makes you dig deeper
Quite often learning a language involves comprehension with a set of questions at the end. However this app makes you approach the conversations from multiple directions. So what seems impossible to begin with is very understandable at the end. Great app.
C’est parfait!
This app is perfect for developing my listening skills, which is much needed as I don’t live in a French-speaking country. It gives you content that’s actually interesting for adults and has multiple categories ranging from Politics to the Arts, at each of the CEFR levels. Each video is a news report/very short documentary on a particular topic, and each exercise within that tests you in different ways on what you’ve heard. In each exercise you always have the transcript available and it’s easy to flit between the transcript and the questions, the video stays at the top as well and can be paused/rewound/replayed easily as you do the questions. Very intuitive to use, great interface and you have the option to ‘favourite’ exercises if you can’t listen then and there. This is just the kind of app I wanted and I honestly can’t fault it!
