Thrilling Time Loop Adventure, Now on Mobile!

The LEGO Wizard on

Australia

Was excited to see this available for no extra cost to anyone with a Netflix subscription! An excellent point and click mystery with twists and turns and an excellent visual design. This mobile port works great, runs smoothly on my device and has fast loading times. Also no ads! Highly recommend! Minor SPOILERS: Uses the time loop trope really well, working with the game’s lower budget to really deliver a great premise. There are many twists, each building upon the last. Rewards players trying to find Easter eggs and alternate paths. The murder mystery aspect of this might not be for everyone, but definitely give it a shot. 5/5

Really liked this game

Got a lot out of this game. When I finished, I looked online to see if there was anything I missed and I had missed a lot. I recommend doing the same. Discover all you can on your own

Why?

The reason I’m rating two stars is you HAVE to have a Netflix account to play the game. That’s rubbish. I can’t even remember my passwords. Why?

Worth the time

An amazing game to pay. I really enjoyed the way we are confined to such a tiny area yet so rich in story

Rubbish

Parth83.rawal on

Tried to play first thing. Arrow for bringing inventory is in top the moment I try to open and add item on table etc. It also bring down iPhone menu from top and then game goes into pause mode. Trying to cling on chair after setting up table and was not able to click on it 🤨 very frustrating

Game doesn’t work

Just crashes on opening

Hard to use on iPhone

The controls are very annoying, with the item depository at the top of the screen. Every time you want to use an item you activate the Notification Centre screen. The game very nicely creates the actual frustration of having to live the same time loop over and over again. So yeah, a frustrating game. After 20 loops I finally linked at a walkthrough and would have never guessed what to do.

HARD BUT FUN!!

Very difficult, each loop remember what happened before and gooood luck

Very limited actions

Interesting concept but there are lots of actions that I would’ve liked to be possible but weren’t. E.g., tearing up the canvas of the paintings, looking under the bed, checking the tank of the toilet etc. Even if those actions led to nothing, I would’ve really liked to be able to do them.

A few issues

LetterAfterZ on

Could have been the way I played it, but the way the narrative was revealed I found it pretty uninspiring and a bit of an overdone narrative for time loops. The voice acting was also pretty terrible considering it was such big names, I was surprised, but maybe that’s more the fault of the writing. I also found the controls extremely frustrating on ios. The inventory screen is awkward to open, and dragging items down from the top of the screen kept opening the ios drag down menu and suspending the app, which would close the inventory and unpause time.
