Twinkl LeARn & Explore is an educational AR experience for kids, where they’ll encounter dinosaurs, global landmarks, the wonders of the solar system and more. Twinkl LeARn & Explore is your portal into new ways of learning.
What is AR? Augmented reality is where computer-generated images are superimposed onto reality. In other words, children can look through an iPhone/iPad camera and see 3D models as if they were right in front of them.
Researchers have found that AR in the classroom can improve motivation, concentration and creativity. Our app is designed by educators and is curriculum-aligned, so you can boost learning in STEM, STEAM, computing and technology subjects.
Get started on your AR learning journey and choose from an exciting range of over 125 models and 15 scenes, including:
1) Dino World - 14 dinosaur models and one Jurassic landscape scene.
2) Solar System - 10 out of this world models from our solar system and one solar system showcase (orrery).
3) Micro-habitat - 26 minibeast models and a minibeasts scene.
4) Famous Landmarks - 22 global landmarks
5) The Human Body - 12 models to help you on the most amazing journey of the human body.
6) Festive Wonders - Meet the 3 elves and 3 other festive creations then explore the winter wonderland scene!
7) Amazon Rainforest - 11 vibrant jungle animal models and an Amazon rainforest scene.
8) 3d Shapes - 8 shapes and their real life examples to explore
9) Arctic Habitat - 5 Arctic friends and an Arctic habitat scene
10) Woodland Habitat - 12 familiar British woodland animals and a woodland habitat scene
11) Writing Portal - Discover, Imagine, Write with 11 inspiring scenes with writing prompts
