Good app but still not a Gmail replacement

quino.terrasa on

Spain

Overall the app’s concept is great and game changing. However, use of gestures in iOS is not really good (e.g. opening and closing the sode bar), and the data access permissions are annoying (fixed bar at the top) if you don’t consent to access to all of the data.

No notifications

Since one week ago the app worked fine, but recently without touching anything i dont get any notification. I can check my email but every tine that new email arrives, no notification is showed. Please revise it. Thanks

Solamente cuentas gmail y Microsoft

And iCloud?

Really promising

Its design looks awesome and it seems simple enough that anyone could get used to. But it’s lacking some other email providers. Also it’d be amazing if you could select between low priority or choosing some sort of categorizing.

The ONLY good mail app that doesn’t make me irritated

keef_khan on

I’ve tried many of the mail app options out there across my Mac iPhone and iPad, including Canary, Spark and even Superhuman, and I always felt uncomfortable and not at home with those apps. Twobird immediately makes me feel safe inside my email world, not always on the edge about whether I missed an email or replied wrong. This app puts everything in clear view and doesn’t bundle any stupid AI automation as far as I see. It has a very basic “low priority” filter enabled by default so you can get to “those emails” later. Definitely switching to Twobird for now!

Can’t …

fox7rot on

United States

Can’t delete trashed emails. Can’t change swipe settings. Can’t get rid of unwanted priority inboxes. Can’t delete unless opening every single email and choosing ’delete’ from toolbar. Can’t create rules. Note to Devs: ‘Archive isn’t the same as ‘Delete’. Archive adds more stuff that isn’t dealt with right away and hoards space. And opening an email in order to delete it is a waste of time and potentially dangerous if the email is a virus. ‘Delete’ should be the most obvious function (aside from ‘Compose’) included in any email app. Please don’t sacrifice functionality for shiny features that become useless when one can’t even do the basics. I hope you get this fixed. It’s been an on-going issue since the app first launched and if it were fixed, twobird would be my go-to app.
