twofold inc. FAQ
Is twofold inc. free?
Yes, twofold inc. is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is twofold inc. legit?
🤔 The twofold inc. app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Phenomenal game. I endorse the Editor’s review.
There is an annoying bug where the target colours/numbers don’t appear on restart after a force quit. However, a new force quit resolves the problem.
I wholeheartedly encourage others to buy this game - it takes some getting used to, but is the _best_ puzzle game in the AppStore.
Gameplay needs work
Bought this on the basis of the App Store editorial. Nice concept, but having tried a few different tactics, it still seems too dependent on luck. Interesting mix of reviews - are others finding a better way to play, or are they satisfied with the game ending quickly most of the time?
Agree with one review that the game would be greatly improved if the bottom reserves filled up more quickly. Then you could make better use of spare moves. That would provide a better balance between skill and luck.
Great potential
A promising game that is let down by very quickly giving the player impossible scenarios. Great shame.
Not great
Honestly not sure why the glowing editorial review. A simple, dull puzzle game. No variety, even aesthetic, as far as I can tell. Doesn’t have the ‘aha!’ moments of puzzles, nor the satisfaction of popping blocks in an arcade-style match-three. I much prefer paying for games over premium and £3 doesn’t break the bank; but I’ve got similar genre games with so much more content for the same price. Rarely write reviews just felt a bit hoodwinked by the editorial.
Another winner
Whether because of the design, music or gameplay, this feels like a puzzle from an alien world - perhaps something the minions from Rymdkapsel (my favourite iOS game so far) might play in their downtime. Fantastic stuff!
Confused and disappointing
After the dev's previous efforts I really wanted to like this game. For sure it is well executed - nice sounds, animations and colours - but unfortunately the actual game mechanic is just not fun. It is neither puzzling nor addictive, nor interesting. It is, sadly, just dull and confused, with random events dictating your progress or failure. Not recommended.
Huge battery hog
Great game concept but uses more battery than a GPS app. Completely unacceptable for a small game.
Flawed design
On the surface, twofold inc. appears to be a charming, well-produced 2D puzzle game with bright visuals and a pleasing musical score. But lurking just below the polished exterior is a deeply flawed concept that misleadingly promises a skill based challenge.
In fact, the mechanics that underlie this game are almost exclusively driven by chance.
The unfortunate consequence of this is a game that rapidly becomes tiresome, lacks any sense of achievement and, ultimately, has no purpose.
For the App Store curator to describe this game as 'an absolutely brilliant puzzle game' is somewhat disappointing.
Great game but ends too quickly
This is a good puzzle game,l or rather could be, but the gameplay is limited as you run out of moves too quickly. Needs more balance.
Charming, addictive, surprisingly deep
If you love Threes! then this is for you. Twofold Inc. has playful animation and sound, simple mechanics and that something special that keeps you coming back. It feels like playing Threes! and that's high praise.
