Even better when using a referral - WZ29R8PX Ubigi wasn’t something I’d considered previously, but on a long trip to Japan you can’t beat the simplicity in setup and good pricing for a 50gb data allowance when referred!
Great!
Bit concerned to upgrade as the release notes suggest Stripe is newly added. I wouldn’t want to lose the secure and easy ApplePay option.
The Ubigi SIM card, app and Land Rover are about as difficult an ownership combined experience as one can encounter. I know someone who changed their RR for another car brand at the end of warranty, because of this. And if you are able to register with ubigi, the app gives negligible info about your account. I’m going to try a 3mobile data sim instead.
Even though the application feels like it was designed 10 years ago, and it is a bit slow and buggy the service that they offer actually works reasonably well even in remote parts of the world
The services offered are actually pretty good. Only downside note, I couldn’t pay with Apple Pay because the button wasn’t working.
I’ve tried to use Ubigi in Iran. It was not successful. Sometimes it joined the GSM network but mostly not, and i was in big cities like Shiraz or Tehran. Support was keen to help but they could not resolve any of the issues. I ended up buying a local SIM which provided more for cheaper.
Only got past waiting for Ubigi cellular once on iPhone app. When I did it refused to accept new account details submit remained greyed out. Trying different provider instead.
