Painfully Slow, Freezes, Abruptly Crashes

Hunterhikes on

When I first opened the app, I noticed that it was sluggish in responding to simple tasks. Twice it abruptly crashed. I uninstalled, cleared my iPhone cache as I was rebooting my phone, then reinstalled. The fact that it is taking over three hours to sync a simple calendar without thousands of events shows that this app needs a tremendous amount of work to be considered functional and to have good UX. On this one folks, you should pass. Great concept, just not ready for market. This could explain whether there are so few users and reviewers.

Great app!

I love this, i love that i can traverse through my life’s schedule with ease, not being clouded by too many numbers and being able to see all my events and to-do’s. my only critique is that i think when you turn your phone sideways you should be able to scroll horizontally. otherwise this app works wonders in my life!

Useful visual, but too slow

AllTom on

I love how the day view shows my appointments, how the week view shows special days, and how the month view shows trips. I’ve wanted this for a while. Unfortunately, scrolling is really sluggish, and sync is slow and inscrutable enough that I can’t trust that it’s ever showing everything.

Snappy until you change a setting or event

On initial use, the actions are smooth and satisfying. However, the first thing I tried to do was turn week numbers on (it’s the only setting available before you import calendars) and it did freeze up on me—I force closed and the app was smooth again. I imported my calendars next, and it went well, but clicking “edit event” to preview it then clicking “Cancel” yet again slowed the app to a crawl. Overall, I really love the app, though, and I hope the developer plans on making a few stability improvements. I’d also appreciate the ability to drag events, but I can live without it. Maybe a widget or two? 😁 The app has a ton of potential benefits, but most significant is that it’s the only app I’ve ever seen that allows overnight workers to view a single shift as a single block. Life isn’t confined to paper calendar pages. I’m gleeful this exists, I really am.
