Waste of time
They don’t send the gift cards. I have over $230 and still haven’t received my gift card. I keep Requesting it and get a run around. I will not bother anymore with this app

We lose two hours of life for every hour we sit, Dr. James Levine, a professor of medicine at the Mayo Clinic, writes in his book “Get up!” Let Motion incent you to get up frequently for brief walks every day.
Money may be a good incentive.
UnitedHealthcare Motion gives you the opportunity to earn over $1,000 per plan year for out-of-pocket medical expenses by doing more of what you may already do: walk. You can earn for one, two, or all three goals each day. Earnings are deposited quarterly into an HRA or HSA, as applicable.

Great Comcept Poor Execution
I’ve had this app for motion tracking and credit to my hsa for a few years. The concept is great. The app is a pain in the butt. It rarely works right. Customer service is nice about crediting steps but still bothersome that I have to constantly call CS. Just fix your app UHC Motion!
Waste
I have been waiting to get my credit since December 2023. thank you to UHC Motion and UnitedHealthcare for ruining my motivation
Stopped giving credit
They decided to stop giving credit for your activity, I have $154 locked up with them that should go to my HSA but they decided without warning to not honor that anymore..
Doesn’t read watch data
I have been wearing the watch for several months and if you don’t actively sync it, it stops. So I have several months of no earned money even though I completed exercise goals. Pretty stupid.
Motivation
This app motivated me to be more active.

It takes 3-4 months to receive the gift card and multiple calls to have them send and allegedly resend. The whole thing seems fishy to me
UHC No Longer Wants You To Be Healthy & FIT
Since July 01 this app will no longer function. You used to be able to earn $3/day meeting step goals w/this app, but UHC has decided to end that b/c they no longer really care whether you’re healthy or not, as long as they get your money for their outrageous plans they’re just fine. Pretty sure some pencil neck in the boardroom said something like: “Why are we rewarding the customers this way? Who cares if they’re FIT, they’ll still give us their money. Health insurance is a business my fellow corporate bootlickers, we’re not in it b/c we care about people”. Way to go UHC, way to go…
Buggy app, constantly deleting and reinstalling
I love getting paid to move but this app frequently freezing up. Every time the phone software is updated a delete/ reinstall is usually necessary. Annoying but still worth it to get paid to move.
Intensity workouts not syncing again
Update: it’s working again. Thanks for fixing it! The intensity 30 min workouts are not syncing again…
