This app is great when it works. The problem is it only works about 20% of the time. It will search and search for the printer that it was just connected to moments without finding it. To make things worse, you can’t go into setting while it is searching to disconnect the printer and reconnect. It just locks up and never connects. Sometimes it will connect later on but it is fairly random. I have had success deleting the app and reinstalling, but it eventually looses the connection. This is a widely know issue and no one has fixed it.
Won’t allow different brand printers like desktop version
I have used the ultimaker cura on my desktop and enjoy using it. I got excited when I saw the ability to use the app on my cell phone. When opening the app, it does not allow you to select any printer other than one of their brand that can be detected by net work. I have the FL son, super racer, which has all the parameters saved in the desktop but sadly, the mobile app is nothing useful.
It needs work
Me and my son can’t set up the app can the developer text me and how to set it up
Dead app?
Does ultimaker even read the reviews? Also can’t connect.
It’s just bad
Like I have not seen a worse app in my life
Rarely works...
Considering the exorbitant cost of Ultimaker 3D printers you would expect their app to function correctly. Even when on the same Wi-Fi network it rarely connects without problems.
Can’t see video camera.
I used to be able to see the video feed. Can’t see the video feed any more.
Claims it’s not connected to WiFi when it is
It says it’s not connected to a WiFI network yet it still finds my printer and when I click it I even get an ETA to print completion and the file name of what is printing but an infinite loading sign and no video feed? The printer has the latest firmware on it and I’m using the latest version of the app and both are connected to the right access point.
Can’t connect
Can never get the app to connect when not on the network.
Must be on same network
Don’t really see the point of this if you have to be on the same WiFi network you cant check on a print remotely.
