Playoff sim seems broken
Wonderful game, probably spent dozens of hours on it. At least in the current patch, simming in the playoffs does not seem to be working correctly. In my current save, I’ve spent 20 years testing my theory. As the highest rated team/ best record in baseball, if I sim the round, I only win the round about 17% of the time. If I play each game and sim from there, I win the round 75% of the time. I know upsets happen, that’s why I did this over so many seasons against teams that are better and worse than me.
Needs more attention
Please update this game more. I love baseball and I love the other sports GM games made by this developer, but it feels like this one is neglected compared to the others.

It starts off fun but then it caps all of your development players at 80 but it’s a good game
Too hard honesstly
The game is cool and I enjoy playing it. But it takes forever to get good at it. And it’s so easy to go bankrupt. It’s even difficult on the easiest mode. Like how?
UGM Baseball review
Hey yall. Going through and reviewing each game. While this is lower then the other games, I feel it has loads of potential. I just wish there were some features similar To the real world. Such as IL, assignment, three team trades, but it’s a good game overall. One of the big issues I always see is the lack of any position players in FA, but the draft saves that. Someday I hope for GM tales but ik it’s weird. Hope for the best!
awesome game that could become incredible
very addictive game and very fun. would love more minor league teams and the ability to demote players over 22. i think a league prospect rankings would also be cool. making position changes not premium would be nice. guys who are a 3 star shouldn’t develop so fast the first 2 or 3 years just to plateau the rest of their career. when would some of theee changes be able to be made? thanks

Honestly I downloaded all these ultimate GM games and loved them until they updated to this new update. I’ve paid real money to unlock things because I’ve enjoyed them so. The update slowed the progression down of each player, my minor league team is pointless. Drafting stinks now, there’s not a 5star anywhere and even when you find a 4 star they never level up. I’m constantly losing, I even started a new game on easy mode and still couldn’t win to save my life. You all ruined each game with these major updates.
Player development
Haven’t played the game in a while and only came back recently to find that the minor league development is terrible. All my 5 star players are capped at 80 and it is very expensive to upgrade the facilities after that. So it makes drafting and international signings pointless because when they just reach the cap when they are 20 and i dont want to call them up yet. I want them to develop more like the old way because that allowed me to get them on great contracts and plan for the future after my major players were getting older. So unless i sign or trade for players that were developed under other teams my players will become 90 at best after gear boosts and coaches after like 8 years in the majors. Overall it is just less rewarding not being able to draft and sign international players and have them develop into 85-90 overall in the minors and then calling them up. Ive been playing this game for years and spent at least $100 on this game and i feel this change was not necessary. The game is still enjoyable especially with the new coaching changes and leagues pass. If you could just revert back to the old way of development it would make this game truly perfect almost. Thank you
