Umii - Meet Other Students

It’s really hard to find a friend similar to yourself. It’s not like bumble where you can swipe many profiles, you are only and VERY limited to a select few profiles every few days. It’s very slow and often the selection of profiles aren’t diverse. It’s hard to find a match.

I love the concept of the app and started using it to connect with other students but I began getting an error that stopped me viewing my messages. I reinstalled the app and now can’t login or reset my password (I keep getting status code 500)

Great idea, but the interface is quite clunky and hard to navigate. Also, it seems like there are a lot of inactive accounts so I didn’t manage to make any actual contact with anyone

The idea is truly great as there’s nothing else like this. However the layout of the menus is sometimes I think confusing and certain personal info/settings take a lot longer to set than it should. Also the limitation on 3-5 matches per day is slightly low I think as from personal experience as a 1st year, I have not yet matched someone even I my year yet after 2 days. Brilliant idea though!

I like the concept of this app, but it's extremely painful to navigate with the time it takes to load. Performance needs improvement. All other apps on my device are instant. It takes forever to load connections/messages. Anyone else experiencing similar issues? I don't have any problems on other apps so I'm assuming it's related to this one app.

App keeps crashing, bugs need to be fixed.

this app is barely functional- it crashes every 5 minutes and that’s if the app loads at all

I loved using UMII in the beginning stages of my first year at university, it really allowed me to easily make connections with other students and find people to talk to which was especially useful during a pandemic Definitely recommend!

It is easy too use and a platform where you can socialise and meeting new people

Sounds like a good app but my uni isn’t registered. (UHI- university of Highlands and Islands) Therefore I can’t use it.
